Veli Thoddoo Inn

Visit local island in Maldives is one of my dream. We enjoy our stay here, comp for table, the receptionist is helpful. Breakfast is nice,i like it, we recommended this place n hopefuls will back with my friends,

When my husband Michael and I travel we don't have any expectations, we just let the things unfold as we go and leave the rest to a surprise. Well, Veli and Thoddoo were a very pleasant one. Upon arrival on the island our host Azmy welcomed us at the port, we liked how everybody takes care that everything goes smooth for the visitors and that we feel safe. We stayed two weeks in Veli, had simple, yet savory and delicious breakfast and dinner in, as I like to call it, "Garden of Eden", the outside area of the Inn filled with unique plants carefully planted and taken care of by Azmy and his family. For any requests around food they are open to accept it, for ex., we had a non-meat meal option. The bedroom was simple and spacious, with a nice bathroom, and we appreciated the air conditioning, as the temperatures can be rough for us Europeans! We liked how the kitchen was available to us to make some coffee/tea at any time, cut some fruits and hang around, very family oriented space for sharing. Azmy easily "gets under your skin" in a positive way, he is funny, ready to help, easygoing, friendly, full of interesting stories that allow you to get to know and understand better their culture and life on the island. Michael and I are very thankful to him. Other than that, when you come to Veli, just relax and soak in the beautiful moments that you will spend there. Ohh and, the island and its beaches capture your complete attention as if by magic! SHUKURIYYAA AND SEE YOU SOON ! Michael & Ana
