Old Mill Rooms

Absolutely fantastic place. Immaculately clean and gorgeous layout. Only staying for one night but what an amazing find. We'll definitely book again and book a room with a hot tub next time. Added bonus is the pub (the fox covert) is literally a 1 minute walk away and serves amazing food & proper beer.

Stayed for one night in The Wood Store. The room was so nice, clean and modern. Bed very comfortable and bathroom was spotless. Hot tub was perfect although later on the temperature went down a couple of degrees which on a cold night like it was made it not as cosy. But still a lovely stay. Will stay again 💗

Just stayed in the Barley room and absolutely loved it. A lovely place, everything you need and the lady that gave us our key was very friendly and welcoming. Will definitely be back in the near future for another break. The pub round the corner was very nice too.

We stayed here over Christmas. It was a good location for visiting family and they are nice rooms. There’s a few things that could really make this better though, and not major changes. Firstly the double mattress in the Barn Room has seen better days so a swap out there would really help - it was uncomfortable and my wife chose to sleep on the cot bed instead. Secondly the shower did tend to go a bit hot and cold for the second person using it - which wasn’t awful but just a bit frustrating. Finally - no fridge. We were there for three days and it’s a self contained room not a hotel. There was very generous tea and coffee and biscuits provided but nowhere for is to store anything cold. I am dairy free so the UHT milk provided wasn’t ok for me and my son wanted something soft to drink. A small fridge to put cold drinks in isn’t just a nice to have - I’d say it’s important for a set up like this. Having said all that - that’s hopefully just constructive criticism. These are nice rooms in a good spot for the local area and I would recommend them - especially with a few tweaks.

Nice little place, clean room with everything we needed. Hot tub was spot on and massive. We forgot a bottle opener but there was one attached to the fence beside the tub 👌 went into yarm for food then a couple of drinks in the Fox Covert a minutes walk away. Highly recommend

What a fantastic stay at The Old Mill Rooms. The bed and pillows were Devine, the room was small however had everything you needed and lovely and toastie. The hot tub was fantastic and brought a great end to our evening with wine and bubbles. Will be definitely booking again, have already tried for January but fully booked the dates we wanted :( Thank you guys
