Hampton Inn by Hilton Richmond West Innsbrook

Only stayed one night and there was a large group there. This large group took over the whole place. In the TV area where the lounge was filled with loud adults and kids. We headed to our room about 8:30 that evening after going out to have a quieter time. The kids were knocking on the door as they were running up and down the hall way, yes, the parents didn't stop them. I thought surely this will calm down by 12 midnight. Well I was wrong, this when on until 3:09AM in the hallway people running talking while going up and down the hallway. Then the groups out side in front of the hotel talking loud.. It was so loud you thought it was in the room. We left the TV on to see if that helped, it didn't. The front desk should have done something to stop this behavior. I was a paying guest also. Very disappointed. I told the young guy who checked me out and he said they had had trouble with them all week. So I had to pay $ 200.00 to stay there and not sleep. The front desk should have stopped the group from disturbing the other guest. I was very upset and very tried there next morning. I all I got was I am sorry, they are leaving today.

It's a very disappointed experience. The cancellation service was unfair and unreasonable indeed!

My husband and I spent 6 nights here vacationing. We understood that housekeeping only services the room every other day. However when we returned to our room the second day, no services had been provided. The front desk staff were very helpful and brought us towels, coffee, cups and shampoo (there is a large bottle in the shower that was empty our entire stay)! The next day they did service our room but did not leave coffee or cups and the shampoo wasn’t filled. 2 days later, again no one serviced our room in spite of us letting them know we were going out for the day and our room was available to clean. We were beyond upset. If your policy is to clean every other day then leave enough supplies for 2 days. And by all means clean it properly when it’s due. We understand things get forgotten but this is beyond that. We call the front desk to complain and also spoke to the manager. They could do nothing since we booked through Priceline. We called Priceline and they promptly refunded us one night stay. We have never encountered this before at any Hilton and never had such a poor response from Hilton employees. SMH!

We've stayed here several years in a row, for an annual event we attend... but this year hit a new low. Wow. We won't be returning. It started with our late-ish Friday evening check-in. The desk agent appeared to be the only identifiable employee in the whole hotel. While she was polite and friendly, she was also clearly exhausted, and trying to grab a bite in-between arrivals. Hey Owners, how about you make sure there's more than one person to help guests arriving on a Friday night, so your poor employees can sit for a few minutes and have their dinner? It got even better once we entered our room: there was someone else's *used* washcloth, hanging on the toiletries in the shower, the tub was half-full of water, we were left with no more than 1/8 of a roll of toilet paper (no back-ups to be found anywhere, so we immediately went downstairs to get more), and the secondary toilet paper holder was dangling off the wall, with a dust pile on the floor below. Did Housekeeping even service this room? We were freaked about the level of cleanliness, but so exhausted after unloading all our stuff, upon our late arrival, that we just tried to pretend it wasn't gross and went to bed. The lobby coffee was terrible and complimentary breakfast was entirely unremarkable, without even a single piece of fresh fruit to be found anywhere... not a banana, not an apple, nothing. There were also no milk alternatives (not that this isn't often the case), so just be prepared if you need something other than cow milk. I did use the app chat feature to tell the hotel about our room issues that evening. And I reported it to the front desk agent the next day. No follow-up or action of any kind. No offer of points, or credit to our bill. Nada. Hamptons are usually pretty responsive, in my experience... not this one. On the upside, the location is great, right next door to the terrific Silver Diner and a hop across the street to a number of other wonderful eateries. Also, the 2nd elevator, that's been out of service for yearrrrs, was finally working again, so there's that. After returning home, I attempted to find another way to let management know about our disappointing experiences. They're hiring a GM, and don't have one in place. Explains a lot. Like I said. We won't be back.

A typical corporate hotel. Very clean and comfortable with friendly staff. Great location for access to I 10 and walking distance to some good restaurants. Breakfast was much as expected and ample and bathroom could use some larger towels.

stayed with team for tournament weekend and would recommend this hotel. Plenty of parking, walking distance to restaurants, check in was quick and easy, rooms were clean and comfortable, free coffee/tea 24 hrs, staff was friendly. Breakfast could have been replenished more frequently, but it's free so not a complaint. It's the typical waffle maker, dry cereal, fresh fruit, small yogurt containers, oatmeal with toppings, eggs/bacon/potato/sausage, toast/pastries, juice dispensing machine. Lots of walking trails near by - area felt safe.

Good bed and excellent staff. Had a bad experience at another Hampton near Glenside but this one was great. Very close to shopping and great local restaurants near by. Definitely book with them if in town

The staff was wonderful from our time arriving to the time we left. Ted M does an amazing job as a manger and made my family feel welcomed at check in. Will definitely be back in the fall time on business

Room 223 had a very loud, frequent noise coming from overhead. It may be plumbing-related in floors above. It was impossible to concentrate. Also the maid didn’t clean the room either day, despite our leaving ample time for it.
