When I walked into the small, dingy front office to check in, I wondered what kind of place this would be. The staff member there was friendly, and I'd heard that everything in Thunder Bay was sold out, so I went ahead. The room was spotlessly clean, quiet, with comfortable beds and lots of hot water. I didn't get one of the kitchenette units, so I can't comment on those. But this was a fine place to stay overall if you aren't ooking for a large room or fashionable accommodation.
