Hayes Hotel

Visited tonight with my wife with the intensions of having tea and coffeein the bar. Was told on entry that the bar was only available for food, even though the bar was half empty. Live locally and have entertained family members previously there leaving substantial money. Had intended to lunch there this week but will now spend my money elsewhere. Will b letting friends and aquintences know of this experience

Outside seating area looks great. Resturant area inside very nice, clean and attractive. Meals look amazing. Enjoy a Guinnes and watch the world go by. Relaxing with excellent service. Very popular. You can view the kitchens preparing meals.

The staff was so helpful! And I sure needed help. First, I booked the wrong week, and they fixed it without charging me a no-show fee. Thank you! Then, I needed a safe place to store a bicycle overnight, and they found one for me. Also, the breakfast restaurant cheerfully catered to me as a vegan. The chef prepared a special vegan dinner for me one night. I stayed there for two separate weeks. The first time, I had a room overlooking the square; the view was so nice. I loved that little room. --- A few minor notes: the WiFi didn't reach the top floor, so I would have to go downstairs to use it. And the toilet didn't flush well. When I reported that, they said I had to press the handle multiple times. But when I changed to a different room, that toilet flushed fine.
