We booked Holly Lodge B and B for the 6th December 2024 as we were going to the Thursford Christmas spectacular. It's literally a 2 minute walk to the show. It was absolutely lovely the staff were so warm and friendly to us the room was lovely bed was comfy and the breakfast was excellent. We would highly recommend it especially if your going to the show

Holly lodge is simply the best. I’ve stayed at many hotels and this beats them all. Myself and partner stayed in the Holly room. There simply are no words for how amazing the room was. It is beautifully decorated and very sophisticated. Whoever designed the room clearly has an eye for detail. I have never seen a place so spotlessly clean either and the grounds are very well maintained. The full English breakfast was delicious and if that’s not your sort of thing, there’s an excellent choice of pastries, cereal and fruit. The staff are all so lovely. Very friendly and genuinely interested in there guests. Honestly cannot rate Holly lodge enough. Have booked already for next year. Thanks for an amazing stay.

Attending Thursford Christmas Spectacular my sister booked Holly Lodge. The greeting was warm and welcoming showing us what was where and how breakfast operated. The room we had Claret was immaculate, tidy, clean and very well appointed. It was all very comfortable and clean. The bed was super comfortable. Everything was just excellent and will certainly be back. Breakfast was brilliant the ladies serving were superb and again very welcoming. I imagine in the summer it would be a fantastic location to explore and the grounds look great for sitting out. We will certainly be back. Well done housekeeping, you are excellent. Well done breakfast ladies, you were superb. My only comment would be it would be nice to have a fridge. But that's a minor. Lovely establishment.

From the personal welcome when we parked up to the well organised room key retrieval, breakfast selection, lovely welcoming staff in the kitchen each morning, great selection of hot and cold drinks in the room (IVY - main house), heated bathroom flooring, blackout blinds, big comfy bed, self control heating, fan for hotter nights or air conditioning. Just perfection.

We were going to the Thursford Show and needed somewhere to stay nearby. How fortunate were we to plump for Holly Lodge ! The decor was exquisite, the bed extremely comfortable, the bathroom beautifully appointed with a free standing bath and a walk- in shower, in fact the attention to detail was superb. There were an excellent range of complimentary drinks, biscuits and even mince pies. The breakfast lived up to expectations, including a huge selection for the continental breakfast and a delicious, freshly cooked full English breakfast. The staff were really friendly and very helpful. We have stayed at top class hotels all round the world and this rates as one of the best. It made our visit to the show extra special and we will be recommending it to all our friends. Thank you Holly Lodge for making our visit so memorable.

Holly Lodge Boutique B&B deserves its acclaim for its exceptional service, with staff members providing a warm welcome and meticulous attention to all guest needs including my last minute request for an early breakfast. The B&B has a spotless environment and warm inviting atmosphere created through elegant decor and complimentary treats like mince pies and wine. Veru luxurious yet reasonably-priced rooms complemented by free breakfast are an absolute treat. Highly recommended!

First visit to Holly Lodge, what a gem of a place. Lovely comfy bed in a beautiful bedroom with a stunning bathroom. We were in Mistletoe room. Lovely extra touches like complimentary mince pies and wine. Breakfast was wonderful and all the staff were polite and very helpful. Just a stones throw from the Thursford Christmas spectacular and Holly lodge even provided torches for our walk back. Would highly recommend.

We have just returned from our first visit to Holly Lodge. What a treat it has been! From our beautiful bedroom & gorgeous bathroom (The Holly) to the fantastic staff and fabulous breakfast we have been truly spoilt. Thank you, we will definitely be returning.

We loved Holly Lodge , we stayed in the Ivy room which was stunning and very cosy and warm. Staff very friendly and helpful. I have a food allergy and the staff went to great lengths to check everything for me on the breakfast menu, even checking with the butchers and bakers. Very Impressed. This was amazing. We loved our stay here. Thank you ladies for looking after us.
