Great location and room clean with city view. Good breakfast. Highly recommended.

The staff had been very friendly and helpful. The shop and restaurant is downstairs which is convenient. Subway is across the strew so it’s easy to travel . Overall great hotel and will be back here in the future

Overall experience was superb. The place is beautiful. The facilities are accessible. I’m gonna stay there again.

Looks like the renaissance before, just getting older and needs maintenance

Good location in centre of Tianjin. Could walk to the old colonial buildings area. Lots of restaurants and cafes nearby hotel too.

Hotel is quite dated, old carpets, musty/mildew smell. Surprised at the 5 star rating from other users....maybe 20 years ago? Good enough for the price, I suppose. Staff was professional, not very friendly though. Perhaps they don't speak much English. I probably wouldn't stay there again because of the heavy smell.

The place to stay in Tianjin! We always stay here when returning to Tianjin. Location is the best and service is outstanding. Take Metro Line 1 - Exit XiaoBaiLou station and go out the A or D exit. A is shorter but D exit has less stairs (if you are pulling luggage). As you exit you will see the hotel directly in front of you. Rooms are of a classic design with solid walls ensuring a good sleep. Windows can be opened which is a nice feature. Staff are all very helpful, friendly and enthusiastic. There are many shops, restaurants, parks and other attractions all within walking distance or short metro ride. We did not have the hotel breakfast this time but on prior visits it has been fantastic. Tianjin is well known for great breakfasts - do not miss the Jianbing guozi ! Thank you to everyone at the Clarion for making our stay so enjoyable. We hope to be back soon.

A nice place to stay. Close to everywhere. Friendly staff... One odd thing. The socket on the wall might be a bit old and does not take my phone charger. Acutally can't really blame them as my one is on Australia standard. But the charger does go into socket in other hotels....strange.

It is in the middle of Tianjin downtown where the city started to be a major cosmopolitan in China. Many legendary places are within walking distance. Looking forward to visit this hotel in the future.

Good location.but so old. The cleaning was not so good. The front desk staffs are so king, friendly. The breakfast was good. Air conditioner was not so strong. I felt a little hot. Generally speaking, it is ok comparing to the price.

Excellent location!

Right in front of Xiaobailou Metro station. Lots of restaurants and shopping options. Allowed us to have a late check out.

The air conditioner is centralised control, unable to adjust. If the heater is on the room temperature will very hot. The window is unable to open. The shower tape is leaking water The toilet bowl is not in good condition
