Knapps Narrows Marina & Inn

Cozy, clean and comfortable. The property is in the middle of a working Marina which makes it unique. We were on the 3rd floor with balcony that looked out on the Chesapeake Bay', Our room had a queen bed and 2 stuffed chairs. It included an great continental breakfast. Convenient access to Tilghman Island and St. Michaels. Would stay there again.

The best location to stay at while in at Michael’s. The beds and pillows are very comfortable and the service is great. It is a beautiful property located in a marina. Breakfast was A simple continental but who cares when you are surrounded by so much beauty. This is our second time there and we will certainly be back. I highly recommend.

We went to this hotel for an overnight stay to celebrate our friends birthday. There were 3 families, with children (trip advisor doesn't give that option for feedback). We all booked different types of room, we decided to go for the suite which was one of our best decisions made! The location of the Inn is tucked away at the back of the Marina, it is quiet with two views. One side is the marina and the other the boats. Parking was easy, the foyer was lovely and very modern, extremely clean. We were on the 3rd floor, exceptional views. Stairs/elevators. Our suite has a large area, TV, central table with 4 seats and you can add more if needed. A sofa bed, attached to a big bedroom with a double bed. Black out curtains in there. Small toilet area off the main suite and a bathroom for the bedroom. Again, what a clean place. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. We felt at home. A very comfortable, quiet sleep with views that were amazing. The breakfast which was complementary was very good, bagels, fruit toast, small donut balls, fresh fruit freshly cut, yoghurt, cereal, teas and coffee. What a great spread 8am to 10am. If I be honest, I am yearning to go back. The sense of relaxation sought there, was amazing. Our friends felt the same. Knapp's is 15 minutes away from the small town of St Michael's. We decided to eat at the restaurant 5min walk from the hotel, Characters bridge restaurant. A good find, close by. Thank you team Knapp's, what a fab time we had.

We visited on a quiet winter weekend. The room was clean and comfortable while not elaborate. Randy at the desk was friendly, helpful, and efficient. The water views were beautiful. Tilghmans Island is only twelve miles from St. Michael’s. We enjoyed not only the quiet of the inn but also visiting St. Michael’s, particularly the delicious coffee at Blue Heron.

What a great spot, we arrived by boat, dockmaster helped us to our transient slip easy peasy the marina is very protected, hung out in the pool till our room was ready, room 303 has a beautiful view and was very clean, Marker 5 restaurant on site served up good food in a friendly atmosphere, continental breakfast was managed by more friendly staff, the marina and Inn exceeded my expectations, we’ll definitely be repeat customers!

Just returned from another great stay at Knapps Narrows as I and my family have gone every year for the past few. We go to fish for a few days and have the pleasure of going with Capt. Shannon Pickens who always shows us a great time. The hotel itself is great as it is always clean and the staff is fantastic. The location can’t be beat as you are right at the Marina and have the restaurant Marker 5 next door which is excellent. We will be going back next year.

What a beautiful place. Cozy rooms overlooking the marina and river. We had a second floor room with beautiful views. A quiet place to get away, pleasant and efficient staff. Small high-carb continental breakfast (cereal, bagels, muffins, fruit, good coffee) and a short 15-minute drive to St. Michaels. Calm, cozy, comfortable. And half the price of other inns.

My husband and I stayed for a long weekend along with 8 other couples. We were there for a wedding. The Inn is so quaint! Like staying in a bed and breakfast. Staff was very friendly and the entire Inn was very clean!!! Would highly recommend.

We spent two beautiful days and nights here. The fun part it that the season has not yet kicked off, and during the week the place was deserted. We felt like we had the whole place to ourselves. The room was great, very comfortable beds, very modern and clean room and bathroom. We could watch the sunset from our balcony, and the dawn on the deck in front of the door. They have bikes to borrow. Their boat rentals were not ready yet, the boats were not yet in the water. Captain Shannon Pickens came to our rescue and gave us a private tour around the island, telling us both the history of the area as well as current events. He has a heart of gold and an incredible knowledge of the people and places to go. We definitely will come again.
