The hotel was situated near the Kaveri river bridge. The rooms are spacious, there is hot water for shower, the housekeeping staff are very attentive and attend to you very quickly. Laundry services and food services were good too. The hotel breakfast was nice. It’s. Value for money hotel . Srirangam is just nearby about 20 mins drive. Hotel is situated near highway. From my room, I was able to see uchi pillaiyar temple. Nearby hotel there is Lakshmi Narasimhar Temple. Good hotel will say.

Situated at an almost equidistant location from both Srirangam Temple and Thiruchirapalli Railway Station, Hotel Rock Fort View truly deserves all the praise it garners. I count myself fortunate to have reserved, unwittingly though, a room in this hotel from among the countless options on offer on various travel websites, As its name suggests, the hotel did give a view of the Rock Fort from my room. What’s more, the well-furnished bedroom was surprisingly spacious and clean. The double bed was king-size and quite comfortable. They offer good room service and keep some alcoholic, fizzy and energy drinks in the fridge apart from snacks in the form of biscuits, fritters and chips (which are chargeable) just in case. The Rooftop restaurant is the ‘most happening place’ here, it seems, and it is quite affordable and bang for the buck, especially if you are a cricket fan who likes to watch a game on a big screen in the evening. The room is opened using a big key which has a brass plate with the room number engraved on it, reminiscent of the inns and lodges of the good old times. Do not let its non-prime-looking location dissuade you from choosing Rock Fort View, for you will miss the memorable experience of one of the best hotels at a reasonable price in this part of Tamil Nadu. I have no hesitation in recommending Rock Fort View to anyone wishing for a comfortable sojourn in Thiruchirapalli.

This is second time i stayed in hotel rock fort view, it was good 5 years back. Now good became to average. Restaurant not good, smoke smell all around. They have given additional hours for check out, it was free of cost.
