Uds Coco Hotels & Resorts Udumalpet

We booked this place after reading few good reviews sidelining a couple of bad reviews but it turned out to be a nightmare for us. We went there with a small baby and were generally concerned about the hygiene and cleanliness of the room. We even called them multiple times beforehand to make sure they give us clean room. To our utter shock the room was very shabby and the washroom was very small, stinking and filthy. As we checked in late midnight apart from the watchman there was no staff present. We dint have a choice but to spend the night there. There was water leakage in the washroom. The washrooms and the rooms are nothing like the pictures posted by the resort. To top it all there were ants on the bed and there was no running hot water. They got us hot water in buckets. Food - Breakfast was very bad. Towels provided were dirty. The staff incharge of the food serving area did not care to take any additional requests. Kitchen staff were kind enough to help us with the baby food which was the only silver lining. The common area was also not maintained well. Overall it looked like the owner is running the place with a bunch of locals who do not have any knowledge about hospitality. I would definitely not recommend this place. If you are looking for decent place to stay in and around Udumalpet this is not the place for you. The town has a couple of new decent places at almost the same / lesser price than this one.

It is really terrible to stay there. Very small place not even a fifty cents. No parking in the resort. Can't even park two wheeler. Must park in road side. Food quality is horrible. It is simply like lodge. Depth of the swimming pool is 5 feet, no can play. Full day water is coming out of the air conditioner, it is flowing in front of the room. No any other activities. Waste of money. No response from staff. I never ever recommend to any one.

The atmosphere is fantastic. To get the most out of your visit, go in the evening. This is a great place for kids. They also have party halls and are the best place for a quick weekend getaway because they have rooms and a swimming pool! "
