Sotetsu Fresa Inn-boenden i Tokyo

I had a great stay at Sotetsu Fresa Inn Higashi Shinjuku. The location is excellent — very close to Shinjuku, yet comfortably away from the crowded and noisy red-light district. It’s quiet at night, which made resting after a long day of sightseeing much more enjoyable. One of the biggest advantages is the metro station right next to the hotel, making it incredibly convenient to get around Tokyo. Traveling to major attractions and other parts of the city was fast and hassle-free. Overall, this hotel offers a perfect balance of convenience, comfort, and a peaceful environment. I would definitely recommend it to anyone visiting Tokyo and looking for easy transportation access without the chaos of central Shinjuku.

The room is clean, service at the counter attentive and helpful. The heater (air conditioner) has a bit noise, but acceptable. The breakfast is perfect, has a lot of options and delicious. Overall, it's a comfortable stay.

Location is good. Hotel is linked to the shopping centre which can lead to the train station. As the Hotel is very close to the train station, we thought it would be noisy and have brought ear plugs but didn't need them. The room was spacious, quiet and clean. Washing machine in the room comes in handy. Hard to comment on service as we have almost no interrection with the staff except for communication on luggage storage and collection on the first day. Check-in was done ourselves via a machine including completion of details and scanning of passports (a staff was standing by and ready to help if we have problem doing the self service check-in). Hotel cards were dispersed by the machine upon successful check-in. Check-out was completed in the room using their TV app. That said, hotel staff we encountered were polite. The only issue we noted is on the housekeeping. The rule requires us to place the housekeeping card outside the door by 11am if we want room cleaning. One would expect no knocking on door enquiring whether we want room cleaning before this time but apparently that was not the case. Overall, it was a good and comfortable stay.

Personalen i receptionen är också mycket entusiastisk och hjälpsam. Du kan förvara ditt bagage efter utcheckning. Det finns en liten restaurang i lobbyn där du kan dricka kaffe, te och äta, och det finns även en tvättstuga. Det enda missnöjet är att det inte är hygieniskt och att städningen inte är ren. Den kvällen jag checkade in hittade jag en stor boll med hår, röd olja och en massa damm och smutsiga rester inklämda mellan stolens rygg och säte. Jag blev chockad. Jag tog desinfektionsservetter och torkade av dem överallt. nattduksbord länge.Jag städade allt själv, och det är stor sannolikhet att dessa situationer kommer att inträffa när jag funderar på att byta rum, så jag frågade inte hotellet. Jag stannade i 9 nätter och bad en gång om nya lakan.När jag kom tillbaka upptäckte jag att de nya lakanen hade liknande blodfläckar på två ställen, så jag bad om ett nytt lakan att använda ensam. Jag kanske gillar renlighet och har lite mysofobi.Jag förväntade mig inte att sånt här skulle hända på japanska hotell, och jag kände mig lite besviken.

Approx 4 mins walk from Kinshicho. I love this station because it connects you to city center with multiple lines within 10-15mins. Around the area, there’s multiple food (although there’s some sketchy people holding out signs to bring you to their drinking bars) There’s a smoking booth at level 1, convenient for smokers. We had the smoking room but used the smoking booth as the windows in the room can’t be open for ventilation. The room was very small, barely enough to open our large suitcases. The amenities however were fully stocked in level 1. Breakfast was ¥1500 per person. We only paid for one day to try it out. The food was not bad nothing to rave about (you can find cheaper alternatives for breakfast outside) There’s also vending machine, ice machine and laundry. Note that for laundry there’s only 3 washers and 2 dryers. Do go early to wash to avoid waiting as it’s on 30mins cycle and multiple people were using it.

Sotetsu Fresa Inn Daimon is a smart, no‑nonsense place to stay if you are flying in or out of Haneda and want things to be smooth and fuss‑free. The overall feel is modern, efficient and quietly comfortable rather than luxurious. The self check‑in machines are a real highlight. After a long flight, being able to handle everything quickly on your own is a relief, yet you still see staff nearby who can step in and help in fluent English if anything is unclear. This mix of autonomy and human backup works very well in practice. Location‑wise, it is hard to beat. Being so close to the stations that connect directly to the monorail for Haneda almost feels like you are staying at an airport hotel, just with more character. Getting to and from the airport with luggage is straightforward, and you are still well‑placed to head into the rest of Tokyo for sightseeing or meetings. The neighbourhood around the hotel is practical and easy to live in. There are eateries that open late into the night, so you can still find a proper meal even if you arrive after normal dinner hours. Having a 24‑hour pharmacy and nearby shops means you can sort out any last‑minute needs without stress. Inside the hotel, the amenity station is a generous touch. Being able to help yourself to skincare products, face masks, toothbrushes and other essentials makes the stay feel more thoughtful than a typical business hotel. Rooms are on the compact side, as expected in Tokyo, but clean, comfortable and well equipped. Breakfast is probably the least impressive part: it is perfectly passable, but not something you would plan your morning around. Given how good and convenient the nearby convenience stores and cafés are, many guests might be happier skipping the hotel breakfast and picking up something outside instead. Overall, Sotetsu Fresa Inn Daimon works very well if you care about convenience, easy airport access and a smooth, low‑friction stay, with just enough small comforts to make it feel welcoming rather than purely functional.

Faciliteter beroende på Hotel Grade Billigare hotell kan inte inkludera en full frukostbuffet. Lyxfunktioner som spa, örhängen bad eller gym finns bara i högre änd hotell.

Highly recommended hotel. Although it's not in central Tokyo, the location is perfect: it's right next to the subway station, allowing you to reach the city center or Tokyo Station in minutes. The facilities are good, the hotel is impeccably clean, and the rooms are comfortable (standard size for Japan). An excellent and very efficient choice in terms of price and quality.

i lost my phone on my way back to my hotel on my last day, almost midnight when i realized my phone is gone.. so i checked my ”find my phone” location and idk how i could find it if i go out so i asked the guy from receptopn where exactly was the locatopn was and tolf me it!: in tye police station, He eventually helped me, went to the police statoon and he was the one who translated everything for me in Japanese, i got my phone back thanks to honesty of the whoever found my phone.. KUDOS to the people at the reception and specially to the guy who helped me, sorry i forgot his name but i wish good karma brings him sooo much luck since i felt hopess finding my phone. sooooo thank you... about the hotel, it's super close to everything and Ginza vintage luxury shopping places i wish to go to, in fact i walk atounf from hotel to all the shopping places. subway is very close so as bus stop.. the shopping places were just 7 mine walking distance from where i bought my chanel and hermes bag... 10-15mins to ginza vintage shops places... i would come back and book in this hotel again if i ever come back soon again... Blessed for this trip to nver lost anything... 🤍🙏🏻💫

Great stay at Sotetsu Fresa Inn! The location is super strategic — the metro station is only about 3 minutes away, which makes getting around Tokyo very convenient 🚇✨ The room is clean, comfortable, and perfect for a good rest after a long day exploring. Staff were friendly and check-in was smooth. Definitely a good choice if you want convenience and comfort in one place
