Centurion-boenden i Tokyo

Great location as it was about 7min walk to Ikebukuro Station. The reception was at level 3 along with ice machine, coffee/tea machine, washing machine with dryer. There’s a Denny’s at level 2 where we have our breakfast and 7-11 at level 1. The famous Ichiran Ramen was just across the road and operate 24hr. Overall room was just nice for me and my son as it had everything we need. Able to open up my 28inch luggage (one at a time) as Japan hotel room size is usually small. Not a big issue for me

I recently stayed at Ueno Station Hostel Oriental I in Tokyo, and overall it was a very satisfying experience, especially for a solo traveler looking for convenience and value. The biggest advantage of this hostel is definitely its location. It is only about a 3–5 minute walk from Ueno Station, which makes it extremely convenient for getting around Tokyo. With access to JR lines, the Tokyo Metro, and the Keisei Line to Narita Airport, transportation was simple and stress-free. The surrounding area is lively, with plenty of restaurants, convenience stores, and the popular Ameyoko shopping street nearby. The hostel itself is a capsule-style accommodation for men only. The capsule was compact, as expected in Japan, but clean and well-maintained. Each bed came with its own light, power outlet, and curtain for privacy. While you can occasionally hear other guests moving around, it was generally quiet enough to rest comfortably after a long day of exploring the city. I would recommend bringing earplugs if you are a light sleeper. One of the highlights of staying here is the public bath. After walking around Tokyo all day, soaking in the hot bath was incredibly relaxing. The bathing area and restrooms were clean and well organized, and basic amenities were provided. There is also a lounge area, lockers for luggage, vending machines, and coin-operated laundry facilities, which make the stay more convenient. For the price and location, Ueno Station Hostel Oriental I offers excellent value. It may not be luxurious, but it is practical, clean, and perfectly suited for budget-conscious travelers who prioritize accessibility and comfort. I would definitely consider staying here again on my next trip to Tokyo.

The location is great. 3 mins walking to the nearest station. Many restaurants and convenience stores nearby. The cleanliness is just acceptable. However they don’t make the beds and clean the room regularly, only throw the trash and change the towels, which is weird. The amenities are quite old and the room is smaller than expected. If you have two kids like us (one 9yo and one 5yo), maybe it’s better to rent 2 rooms. The staff is supportive though, so I rated 4/5 because of the staff. Anyway, if you want a great location to travel around on a budget, this is good. If you need a comfortable stay, should consider twice.

The front desk Myanmar guy intentionally gave me some hard time telling me my English name is different from my legal name which is funny. I came to this hotel 2months ago it was the same guy who check me in and he even mentioned he recognized me but giving me hard time at check in which is something I don’t get?! The dryer is extremely dirty. One Japanese mid age female front desk came over to our room being pushy for checking out saying she will charge us more money after 11:15pm. The late checkout charge didn’t notify at the time of checkin This hotel is overall in a really old condition. The floor carpet is wear out

Det enda jag inte är nöjd med är att de inte ger dricksvatten efter städning 😂 Glöm det. Det finns en lokal matstormarknad mittemot, och vi köper och dricker där varje dag. Badprodukter och hudvårdsprodukter är väldigt bra och har alla. Att applicera lotionen som de tillhandahåller i det luftkonditionerade rummet är väldigt bekvämt😌 Läget är riktigt bra. Du kan gå till Ueno Park, Ueno Station och Okachimachi Station. Maten är billig och god. Gatan i norr är full av nöjesbutiker Varje kväll är det vackra tjejer vid vägkanten som rekryterar kunder.

Bra placerat och rent i allmänhet, utom för dig, men jag tror att det måste vara svårt att hålla sig rena med antalet människor.Det finns inte tillräckligt med toaletter för alla människor.Badrum är rena, väl utsedda och luftiga. Bäddarna är rena och bekväma. Negativt: alla lådor ligger i ett rum, det finns mycket trafik i ett rum och vissa gäster låter sig tala högt medan andra sover.Kanske känner de att det inte spelar någon roll eftersom det inte är deras rum.

The location is very good, many shops & restaurant nearby the hotel. The service is good. Unlucky, the lift was damaged in the first day when we check-in. The staff is very helpful to send our luggage to our rooms by stair. Work hard!! The room temperature is high as the capacity of A/C is small in such a big room.
