Good location in Shinjuku, a convenience store just under the Hotel. The room size is good and very clean.

The location is great and just one block to the centre of Kabukicho. The Kabukicho Donki was located one block from the hotel as well. Lawson and 7-11 just are next to the hotel, very convenient for snacks and drinks.

The hotel is a little bit old but it has a very good location and customer service. The front desk is very helpful and English speaking. I paid additionally to upgrade my room to executive room, the top of the building, quiet and cozy. However , the furnitures are old and look not very clean. The room size is still fine compared to other traditional hotel in Japan.

Great location. The room size was disappointing for a ‘Delux’ room and it’s a shame that only breakfast was available.

I recently stayed at Citadines Central Shinjuku and had a pleasant experience overall. The hotel's location is excellent, right in the heart of Shinjuku, making it incredibly convenient for exploring the area. It's just a short walk to the Shinjuku Station, and there are plenty of restaurants, shops, and attractions nearby. The room was clean and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities for a comfortable stay. The bed was cozy, and I appreciated the modern bathroom facilities. The free Wi-Fi worked well throughout my stay, which was a big plus. The hotel staff were friendly and helpful. They provided useful information about the local area and were always ready to assist with any questions or requests. Overall, I was satisfied with my stay at Citadines Central Shinjuku. It's a great option for those looking for a convenient and comfortable place to stay in Shinjuku. I would definitely consider staying here again in the future.

Very friendly and helpful staffs. I stayed for 7 nights and everything in the room was perfectly fine to suit my needs, room wasn’t big but wise sized and cozy enough for me as a solo traveler. Excellent location easy accessible to all sightseeing spots, MRT stations are couple minutes away. Kabukicho is 5 mins walk, large amount of shops and restaurants nearby. A convenient store on G/F and you can grab food and drink easily. The only demerit is, it’s too close to Kabukicho and there’re bars right next to the hotel thus it’s always busy and crowded, you might have to pay more attention at night when walking back to hotel.

Fantastic location right next to Golden Gai. We found the hotel to be quiet and slept well even though our room faced the road. Friendly staff! My only negative is that the window in the room couldn't be opened at all so it was impossible to get fresh air in.

The best parts for me were the location; the bathroom, especially because I was able to take a bath; and the ability to connect with various streaming services. This was my last stop in Japan, so comparatively (and generally) the hotel is need of some phyisical upgrades, including the carpets in the hallways and rooms. Also staff were generally nice, but not the same level of friendly/kind I felt at most places I've visited in country and elsewhere (except all of the breakfast staff - so genuinely kind). Breakfast was decent though for me was only worth the price for convenience. But, the fresh baked croissants, highly recommend. Getting to and from the hotel via foot, taxi, or train was also easy. Would actually give a 3.5 if possible.

Location of the hotel is exceptional, making it easy to explore the attraction areas, shopping and dinning options within walking distance. One standout feature was the room size, which is not typical for hotels in Japan. It was pleasantly spacious, we can freely open our luggages.

Pretty good location, near train stations and most surrounding restaurants opening till late. Right next to a convenience store and a few stores away from another one. The hotel is a bit old but staffs are friendly and helpful. The coffee machine isn’t great so if you want a great cup of coffee, make sure you get ones from elsewhere.

Extremely good location for the price. Right smack in the middle of Shinjuku just beside Kabukicho. A very busy hotel but staff is very helpful and most can speak fluent English. Some of the equipment might be a bit dated. e.g. aircon cannot work well.

Location is close to transit but this is in the red light district. Super noisy at night. Hotel is pretty dated and dingy. Furniture is all dinged up, marks on the walls. Carpet is pretty nasty in the room. Not to mention a smell in the rooms, even after changing the room the smell doesn’t change. Bathroom has black mold. Unfortunately even the hair dryer was grommet. It is not pleasant. During our stay there was a pest issue and it required pest control. Which was never communicated until we entered the room and read the notice. This is definitely not a 3 star hotel. More like 1.5 stars. Staff is nice but unfortunately was unable to provide any assistance other than a room change. I guess the hotel is convenient if you can tolerate the grimmeyness and would want to pay extra for this hole in the wall experience go for it. I definitely recommend literally anywhere else.
