Capsule Inn Hamamatsucho

I wrote a longer review of this place that covers the basics. After I ended a business trip I decided to stay on in Tokyo so just rebooked at this spot on the app. It seems like the staff here run bookings mostly with a hand written ledger --- when I mentioned to them I was staying longer they just made a note of it and then left me a message when it was confirmed, very chill. Overall the staff at this place were pretty great. I was there for two weeks and in the time I was there I saw maybe like ten different people working there. As an English speaker, sometimes there was a language barrier, but it was never really a problem, and there is clear signage about all of the most important policies all over the place in English, Korean, and Chinese. It was always a friendly experience, most of the ppl working there were older with a kind of caring auntie vibe, so that was fun. At one point I asked to move bunks because a guy on my floor was super sick, and they arranged it with no hassle or fuss, which I really appreciated. Would definitely recommend this place for the staff.

I read a lot of bad comments about this hostel but honestly it was one of the best in Tokyo, it's right, there was queue in the night for check in and the owners are all old men/women and things are slow, but my staying was good! I extended one night more. They also give you a Kimono for the Japanese bath

The hotel boasts an excellent location, situated right next to the A4 exit of Daimon Metro Station. The receptionist is exceptionally warm and supportive. Amenities include a hairdryer, shower facilities, coin lockers, and a vending machine. Each bed capsule is equipped with a TV and clock, making it very convenient. Overall, I thoroughly enjoy my stay here.

Very good location hotel, it's beside the A4 exit of Daimon Metro station. The hotel receptionist is very warm welcoming and well supportive. This hotel has hair dryer, shower room, coin lockers, and vending machine. At the bed capsule, there is TV and clock. It's very convenient and I can enjoy staying here.

Suitable for solo travelers

I don't know where to start. I have been to several capsule hotels in Japan, but I have never stayed in one that was so dirty. The toilet smelled bad. Everything felt so irritating to me. After getting in my bed, I felt something was off. Was about to sleep and noticed the duvet was dirty. Had blood stains (obvious it was period). I went back down to ask them to change it. Then I was told that wasn't my bed and was given a nee bed number. I doubted that. Felt they were trying to make it look like they gave me a bed which was not cleaned yet. It was already perfectly arranged when I got in. Also, why provide a toothbrush and no toothpaste? I could not sleep and just had to leave ASAP. But then, it has good parts. In the middle of the city. There are lots of restaurants, convenient stores and also train stations around. It's also not expensive. So that is it. (I do not want to include the photo of the duvet with the blood stains because it's just going to irritate people).
