Hotel New Otani Tokyo the Main recensioner

Ideal hotel for families.  There are many restaurants within the building.  Most importantly there is car park and it’s free if you are guest of the hotel.

Very nice hotel as expected. We know the hotel and good to see the Main has been well maintained. Beautiful Japanese yard. Location is convenient. The only disappointing part is the breakfast. Western style buffet in the morning has very limited items and same every day. I hope they can make more variety of the food.

The staff was great. This is a large hotel. The best things about it are: the gorgeous Japanese garden - just lovely. The rooms are clean. A newspaper was delivered every morning , which was a treat. The hotel is about a 10 minute walk for two different underground stations - but not difficult to get too. Staff arranged a cab to the airport for us. The outdoor pool was closed and there was a 50,000 yen change to use a gym with an indoor pool. We stayed in the “Main” - very nice, but the bathrooms are a wee bit dated and somewhat crowded. Perfectly functional and clean! I have found the pillows in Japan VERY firm and the New Otani is no exception. Perhaps having a pillow selection menu would be nice. We enjoyed our stay.

The service is excellent. The room is spacious and the cleanliness is very good. The garden is so nice and unique.

The location is the most convenient one but still close to many tourist spots and city centre. Nice garden, polite staff, good food and cozy environment. Will visit this hotel again next time.

The garden of this hotel is magnificent... This is a top quality of high-end hotel , hotel staff are friendly n super helpful . The location is absolutely convenient if you drive. Free parking is available. The room size is huge and everything is so clean. We will definitely return to this hotel in our future visit.

The hotel is next to Asakasa Palace where you can go running. It’s a big hotel but there are not many shops around there. It’s around 10 mins walk to Yotsuya JR station. The room is relatively bigger than other hotels of this price range in Ginza

The view from the restaurant of Fuji mountain was priceless. I learned it is a rare and special event. The swimming pool could have been better informed. The staff are friendly but can be more accommodating.

Good hotel for business travel. Gym very basic, but room was good. Breakfast was a real highlight.
