Hotel Resol Akihabara recensioner

We loved our stay at Hotel Resol! Right in the heart of Akihabara with the train station close by too! Perfect location, and with out room having the view of the river it was lovely. The rooms and bathroom are both a decent size with the type of room we got. You’re able to pick up as many amenities from the reception that you need for your room. There’s also a stamp to collect in reception so don’t forget to get that if you’re collecting stamps throughout! The staff are all so lovely, and even kept our luggage the last day for us whilst we ventured out and about. There’s things you don’t need to worry about bringing to Japan, as all the hotels I stayed in provided these, a hairdryer, shampoo and conditioner, body wash, PJs, and slippers. There’s also a mini fridge to stash all your konbini goodies. They don’t clean your room everyday which is nice because it means you don’t have someone in and out all the time. But they do replace bin bags, towels and waters daily which is lovely! There’s also a cute little temple nearby to the hotel too! Which has a little cat we got to see a lot of! :) Overall a really pleasant stay! and it completed the end of trip! Thank you for a lovely stay!

Overall a pleasant stay, good location that less than 10mins walk from Akihabara station. Only thing to mention is a super small room that very hard to open up the luggage.

Walkable distance to metro and JR. Free amenities. Clean room. Gave us some lovely gifts for our anniversary. Staff were polite and greeted us when we left.

Second time staying here - prime location, accessible to all major districts in central Tokyo & Narita Airport. Staff are friendly, room is clean, amenities are provided. The Italian restaurant downstairs is also good.

They said because our child was under 18 he "doesn't count as a person" so we only got one (small) bed. I know that Japan doesn't follow a lot of the same standards as America, but I don't feel like it's too much to ask to PROVIDE A PLACE TO SLEEP IN A HOTEL. Don't trust the pictures on the site. The room we were supposed to have booked had two beds in the picture. When we went to ask for a bigger or second room, the "entire hotel" was booked. Also, if the pictured sign is to be believed, they violated a fire code.

The hotel location is great, served by multiple train lines which are all within walking distance. The room itself is just about comfortable for a solo traveller, though it may be a bit tight depending on the size of your luggage. Check in was good. There is a fee to pay if you wish to check in/out earlier/later - this option is something I appreciated. Staff are friendly! The room design has that modern industrial vibe, although it’s small it has just about the amenities you would need. My mistake was not checking whether there was an in-room safe so I had to lock my valuables in the luggage instead. At the reception floor, there is an amenities corner which you can take as you need which I like. You can even loan items such as digital scale, or nail clipper for free. They have a microwave oven, disposable cutleries. Overall, very happy with my stay. Highly recommend if you are travelling alone or light.

Nice hotel with sofa but the air conditioner was acting a bit weird. Other than that everything was fine and still highly accessible within 3 minutes from Akihabara station

Unimpressed by the size of the room - you would have to walk sideways inside the room otherwise you couldn’t even move an inch; and as one could imagine the luggage couldn’t be fully opened. The shampoo quality was concerning. It made my skin so, so itchy that I had to purchase shampoo for myself before returning to the hotel the other night. 2 bottles of water were provided every day, but you would be charged for requesting more than that. Bed and pillows: average.

Not the cleanest but the service was good

Good location, room is dusty and quite small. We had a nice waterway view though.
