Adjacent to Komagome station, which is served by the Yamanote and Namboki lines. Very well connected, enabling you to get to key hotspots (e.g. Shibuya, Shinjuku etc.) in the city in <30 mins. Neighbourhood is quiet, peaceful and gives an insight into life for the average Tokyoite. Also home to Rikugien Gardens, one of the finest Edo period rolling gardens in the city. Several convenient places nearby (e.g. Lawson, 7/11, McDonalds, KFC, several pharmacies etc.)
Lobby is small but functional and never crowded / busy. Front desk staff are helpful and friendly. Well-stocked amenity station in the lobby containing lots of useful items (e.g. razor, bath salts, toothbrushes, skincare etc.)
Room is compact but spotless and has everything you need. Comfortable bed, pillows, desk, TV, well-equipped bathroom. A safe would have been a nice inclusion.
Included breakfast is functionally a voucher to a Denny’s restaurant that is situated on floor 2. The breakfast is simple but prepared quickly and there are a few basic options available (various forms of eggs, sausage, bacon) and a drink buffet is included (tea, hot coffee, iced coffee, juices etc.)
Overall this is a great hotel in all regards and well priced. I’d recommend without reservation.
