It was my birthday trip, and I was quite impressed by the hotel's professionalism and politeness. When I told them it was my birthday trip before checking in, they prepared a gift and congratulations letter for me and provided me a high-rise room as I requested. The room was clean and neat, and I loved the view from the hotel's rooftop. I can see Tokyo Skytree and Sensoji from this rooftop, so I don't feel the need to visit another observation platform. If I ever return to Tokyo, I would like to stay at this hotel again.

The location of the hotel is excellent and the view from the reception and restaurant floor is amazing. However, the cleanliness of the room was a night mate for me. There are whole of the dust in the room , stay for 3 nights and the air purifier never stop but still a lot of dust which make me hard to breathe and every morning woke up because of the dust. Other than dust in the room, there is nothing complain for the hotel.

Very near to Ginza Line -Asakusa Station. Breakfast is excellent. Not free. Need to pay around 3000-3800yen . Service start from 630am to 1030am. We choose the 33m.sq room which fits 3 regular size adults,with 4 luggage (26inch,size). Room Service is excellent. The hotel lobby and breakfast are located on Level13. Good view of Asakusa. Will stay again .

I had an amazing stay at The Gate Hotel Asakusa Kaminarimon! The location is perfect, just a stone's throw away from the iconic Kaminarimon Gate and Senso-ji Temple, making it easy to explore the vibrant Asakusa district. The hotel itself is beautifully designed, blending modern amenities with traditional Japanese aesthetics. The staff were incredibly friendly and attentive, ensuring that all my needs were met. I particularly enjoyed the rooftop terrace, which offers stunning views of the Tokyo skyline and a perfect place to unwind after a day of sightseeing. My room was spacious, clean, and equipped with all the necessary comforts. I highly recommend The Gate Hotel for anyone looking to experience the charm of Asakusa while enjoying top-notch hospitality. I can't wait to return!

I am really pleased with the hotel. Location: a few minutes' walk from the Asakusa Toei line or Ginza metro line stations, though do note that there is no lift at the exits closest to the hotel. Many eateries within a stone's throw away, including ramen shops that open till late as well as a Matsuya that opens early for an affordable breakfast. About a 8 minute walk to a large, 24 hour Don Quijote. And of course, the namesake Kaminarimon and the Sensoji temple are within view. There is also a supermarket right at the ground floor of the hotel providing even more convenience. Cleanliness: daily housekeeping and room and bathroom kept spotlessly clean. Amenities: there is an excellent terrace for hotel guests only, with commanding views of the Skytree, the Sensoji temple, and the Asakusa area in general. No in-house onsen, but this is expected for this price range. Toiletries are provided. Service: very warm and nothing was too much trouble for the team. I did not take breakfast from the hotel so I cannot comment on that. I highly recommend this hotel.

Asakusa Temple just across the street in 5mins walks,7-10mins walk can reach Ginza line and Asakusa line,room just nice can open three 28inch luggage…The reception View is perfect can see the Tokyo sky tree tower…

Our favourite hotel in Japan. Everything was amazing in particular the view from the roof terrace. I’d go back for the breakfast alone, it was that good.

I stayed 2days and 1night in this hotel, the location is super nice really close to station and sensoji temple and the view was amazing. The room are clean but there are some dust every corner of the room. Also furnitures are old like the table is not stable etc. but im happy there are a coffee machine in the room. And limited choice for the breakfast.

5-10 mins walk from JR station and airport sky-access. Very conveniently located and good amenities. Relatively bigger room compared to other tokyo hotels.
