Great little gem hotel with nice onsen and evening soba supper ! Convenient location ! Room on the small side but have all essentials !

Comfortable room but too small for more than 2 ppl

Have stayed at apa hotels in Japan and was satisfied. Decided to stay in akihibara area again but stay at Dormy. Was excited to find for a similar cost I received a bigger room with a nicer onsen and they cleaned my room every day. Workers were courteous and worked hard to keep me satisfied. Only negative was a disappointing breakfast so we went to grocery next door and had what we wanted for a similar price. The only other issue is they should move the microwave downstairs to the seating area on entry area. Why put a microwave where the onsen or spa is. Its silly

It is a very comfortable hotel with nice staffs. The room is clean and new towels are provided everyday. The location is convenient that can access different railways.

Had an excellent stay at Dormy Inn Akihabara, location is just a short walk from where Akihabara is most concentrated, with easy access to all the shops there, within a fifteen minute walk. The public bath was better than expected, a real gem addition, and the free ramen every night was appreciated. Room was well sized, quiet, and clean. Recommended.

Overall services was excellent. Just the room size was not big enough.

Convenient location, great onsen spa, wonderful services, very good breakfast, super tidy and clean. Room was however reeeally small (we booked a semi-double room). Neverthelesss... we booked this hotel because we absolutely loved the hotel of the same brand that we had stayed in in Kyoto last year. And the room size of this one was quite disappointing. If you love onsen then yes definetely go for it. Otherwise I bet there are better options out there.

Located in between 2 station and Breakfast is ok and recommended for stay.

A bit disappointed with this hotel. Might be from my misunderstanding of the style of room? Not sure. The room was larger than others but laid out in a way that it felt very cramped, and we were tripping over our luggage. The mattress was hard and springy (could feel the springs popping when we moved) and the pillows were very flat. The hotel advertises a “private onsen” meaning you can only use it if booked in the hotel, but no where does it say “no tattoos” until you are checked in. I should have confirmed, but trusted the listing on Trip, because so many other hotels specify no tattoos on their listings. I just assumed no warning against it meant tattoos were okay, but I was wrong. Some extra amenities that were nice were the free late night ramen and ice cream, the manga library (all in Japanese though), and the free washing machine (must pay for drying). The location can’t be beat, it’s very close to a metro stop and Akihabara Electric Town. Despite this, I probably would not stay here again.

The hotel is right at the end of Akihabara, very convenient to visit the old electric town and of course, the anime town! It has public baths for male and female separately, indoors and outdoors too. The hotel also provides free popsicles at night, or drinks in the morning for people using the baths. And free late night soba noodles too! It is a good bargain for a night or two to stay!
