Pros: nice location, friendly staff and generous coffee/teas at the front desk (but water is from the room tap or you need to buy bottled water), pancakes are best but you can't eat ot every day (with only butter and maple syrup). Nice big TV but all the settings were disabled so brightness and volume can not be adjusted. Cons: The fridge is a joke, doesn't keep cold. It's tiny like toy. Smallest fridge I've ever seen! Breakfast selection is very limited. 5 types only. Orange juice is actually cordial. And lots of breakfast rules: You can not bring own food, you can not take out drinks even though you're doing take out food as the seating is limited especially during peak hours. If you want toppings on your hotdog sandwich you need to pay an extra 50 yen, the chili topping stated is actually just salsa. Wrong description. We stayed 5 days. We definitely will not stay longer ss the cons become a problem. We recommend 3 days max.

Very happy to find this hotel, good deal with decent breakfast, room good enough for Asian size, well maintained and no noise at all despite room facing lift, well located and accessible to everywhere 👍👍👍👍👍

The hotel is in a good location, near Ueno station and Takeya Building. The room is fit for 2 people.

Good location. Very near to train stations n eating/shopping streets. Room is clean. Hotel oso provide some free coffee & green tea in the afternoon at the reception counter. For your toiletries, can just go to the reception area to get yourself if u need more. However only drawback is they dun provide bottle of drinking water in the room.

The plus point of this hotel is its location. Less than 5 minutes walk from Okachimachi (JR Green line) Station - North Exit. Around 5-7 minutes walk to Keisei Ueno (For Narita Airport) and to Ueno Station (Ginza line). Ameyoko shopping street is within 200 metres, ideal for budget shopping and eateries. However, it is a really crowded hotel, the lobby is usually packed with tourists and breakfast served is very simple, each person can get a set of sandwich/pancake and drinks. The good thing is it allows take away. Room size is small but that's the norm of most hotels in Tokyo. In short, it is more to a budget hotel.

Room is sufficient for a medium luggage, might be cramp for two luggage and above. Location is near to ueno station, very convenient. Nearby have a lot of food choices to consider and shopping places.

This hotel location is good and good service is that they brought my luggage into my room automatically cus I our luggage’s to hotel in advance.

Good hotel, nice easy breakfast

Really close to the train station. Staffs are nice and helpful! Cake at the cafe is great.

It took only a few walk from the station to the hotel. There is FamilyMart nearby. The room is cozy but clean. The staff were super helpful and friendly. Next to our hotel, there is a very nice beef restaurant.

Good location. Decoration and fittings are a bit out fashioned, but still in good shape. Faucet sharing between bath tub and wash basin is kind of inconvenient. Breakfast is a bit simple!

Breakfast has very few choices. We went downstairs and were only given bread, coffee, and juice. We thought the room rate was a bit expensive. Breakfast should have more choices. We stayed for 3 nights and 3 rooms.
