I would really like to love this hotel for the superb location in Ginza, where we just walked straight every day to the heart of Ginza shopping.
However, our expectations were hugely disappointed given that it is supposed to be a more premium hotel in terms of price range, the service and hospitality throughout our stay is terribly cold and uninviting.
- Did not offer to assist in our luggages during our check in. We had 2 luggages, many bags with a 15 month old baby clinged onto us. We made it to room on our own anyway.
- Service staff will not greet when you walk past their counter in the middle of the exchanging lifts, many days straight.
- Very dusty air in the room, my 15 month old baby could not stop coughing. Appreciate that there is an air filter machine but it was not of help.
- Service desk seems eager to hang phone up when I was not done with my conversation over phone. And was not helpful, basically giving me a one-word or one-liner regarding my enquiries on luggage transfer. It was a dread.
The service culture in this hotel felt gloomy, unmotivated, insincere. I wish I loved this hotel but sadly I even cancelled my returning night from Kyoto and much rather try a different hotel elsewhere for deserving service standards.
