This might be the worst “hotel” — or more accurately, motel — I’ve ever stayed at. The check-in process was unnecessarily complicated. There’s no actual receptionist on-site, just an iPad connected to a remote staffer (most of whom struggle with English), which made the whole process frustrating and time-wasting. The room? TINY. I booked a twin bed room and there was literally no space to open my suitcase. Sheets were not changed once during my entire week-long stay. Cleaning was done just once, and towels were only replaced then. Garbage wasn’t collected unless I emailed them to request it — daily. The air conditioner barely worked, made loud noises, and the room was always stuffy. The blinds don’t shut properly, so good luck sleeping past dawn. Oh, and the bed and pillow were rock-hard — zero comfort, and only one paper-thin pillow was provided. The checkout experience was the cherry on top — staff started banging on the door exactly at 10AM, yelling and pointing for me to leave. Rude beyond belief. They also don’t offer luggage storage unless you pay ¥1000 per bag. The only upside is its proximity to Honjo Azumabashi Station, but honestly, that’s nowhere near enough to make up for how awful the stay was. Rating: 0/10. Never again.

When going into the hotel building, we need to input password given by hotel thru email/ message in advance, while since there is no one to serve over there, we need to make the check-in ourselves but can made call to their staff (maybe central office) if having trouble during check-in. We booked the panda room but it's really small and tiny, our luggage (24inch x 2pcs) was unable to open completely, but it's acceptable with this hotel price. However, I may not choose this room again as it's really small and no staff on-site for immediate support. **Attached a nice photo taken when we walking to the hotel, some of the rooms seems can have this view but not mine.

It's a man-less hotel, even the concierge is just 3 tablets for self check in / out. Therefore I'm marking it 3/5 for service as service staff is literally non-existence lol 😂 The self check in requires a short video call via the tablet for the staff to perform some verification, but the staff did not speak English which made it an issue. He didn't explain clearly either and we were left on hold. Hotel room is super compact but for the price paid, I think it's worth it. There's a tiny wardrobe that fits only 4 hanging apparel 😂 The in-room fridge was practically not cold even though I made sure it was switched on. Suggestion to hotel: drill some hooks on the walls for hanging of jackets! The hotel has no common facility, usually we don't wash our clothes when we travel but when we wanted to, we realized there's no laundry machine. No microwave or oven either. Suggestion to hotel: have a common area for such amenities on level 1 since it's restricted access for hotel guests only anyway. Location is very convenient! Just a 5-10 minute walk from Honjo-Azumabashi station, Asakusa line, which is very convenient as this is also a direct line for the airport express train. Also, we saw many photo reviews of cute panda amenities but we were not given any. Probably because we booked the cheap room (low floor with no sky tower view) thus the differential treatment 😂😂 I personally didn't like that we were treated differently due to lower price paid

The price is reasonable for unmanned hotel. I’m not sure what happen for this keypad. It doesn’t work for my room. That means I have to use the key from this key box by using password to unlock it. Also, the automatic door lock doesn’t work. I have to use key for lock the room when I left every time. It’s very inconvenience when you carry many things and have to take off the cover under keypad for getting key in. Also, there is black stain on the bathroom’s curtain that make me feel this room is not clean enough.

So stupid, I came to check in as one guest, they request the 2nd guest information, I made a dummy one, didn’t go through. I called for help, the guy deleted the full information one and asked again all my information, hanged twice. The whole process was very frustrating, I called again connected with an English speaker gave me the check in information. Thinking you drag a large luggage sweaty and stuck in the check in while all you wanted is a rest! STAY AWAY THIS HOTEL FOR YOUR SAKE!

1. This room is really very SMALL. The twin bed already took up 80% of the space excluding toilet. 2. This is an unmanned hotel, meaning you have to register your name, passport details, take yr passport photo and selfie to confirm the registration. Imagine you are already so tired by end of day you just want to check in quickly and take a rest. Worst is the customer service did not provide our room number and we had to take the lift down again to call for video assistance. 3. Water pressure was inconsistent at different temperatures. Water pressure increases at higher temeratures and I had to endure bathing excessively hot water. 4. Location is also very far from nearest train station. 5. There is no luggage storage services provided. You have to put your luggage in coin locker at the station. I will only recommend this hotel if you are a solo traveller. For family especially with children please reconsider the above points.

Clean hotel near Asakusa. Book this about 2 months before our trip and got it at a great price. Seen several negative reviews...so was not sure if I have got the right choice 😉. Just need to be sure that the access code is received a day before your stay. Will require a bit of time to check in as there's no reception like a regular hotel. Once you are done, contact the customer service and room number will be given. Witnessed a few travellers facing problems checking in. Glad we had a smooth check in.

The room was great, more bigger than i expected. At least i can open baggage luggage at room. But reception is bit not easy for me

Expecting lobby service but end up using tablet to check in and can’t make any request directly for last min arrangement require by all mean to my need to understand the properties while check in and check out

Stay away form this hotel. I face a problem since check-in to the hotel. No reception, just only Ipad and it running error so The ring was rang for many times and no staff comes to help you. The room smell not clean and we found many hairs on the bed and in the toilet. The stuffs in room also not clean, many dust on the table, Bed. You can’t leave the luggage at the hotel since they’re not have staff stand by there. We book for 3 nights but only 1 night we decide to change the hotel! The hotel staff are hardly to contact and they won’t refund money even you complaint or not stay in the hotel. Not recommended especially for traveller!!

The location was good, the area where the hotel was located was quiet and accessible to subway stations. Also within close proximity to the Tokyo Skytree. The only thing that we didn’t like was that the hotel did not provide housekeeping services for the 8 days we stayed there. Housekeeping must be requested and will not be provided automatically.

I stayed at this hotel as it is near asakusa. I was planning to take the train to Nikko. Note: There is a car rental just near the hotel. Can rent the car to drive to Nikko. I liked my room as the view out the window looks at the sky tree. I could see the illumination every night. The room is the row right outside the lift. The bathroom and the toilet are separate. That is good. You can have a good soak in large size bathtub I thought the room was small. But I moved to my friends hotel in Roppongi APA. That was even smaller. Hope the hotel can have a vending machine to sell coffee capsules for the coffee maker in the room.
