Love the location and the bed the room etc although small. But one sad thing is the room has bad air ventilation, aircon is weak although it’s winter… it’s almost vacuum that I can’t breathe well. The hotel staff couldn’t do anything about it and ended up bringing me a fan. Walls were thin… I could hear next door banging the walls and talking loudly.

The hotel location is excellent and many shops and restaurants nearby. Hotel room also spacious compared to other hotels in Japan.

This hotel is connected to the mall which makes it a superb choice. The train stations are also nearby and easy to find. Plus, the airport limousine bus stops at this hotel so going to and from the airport is extremely convenient. Will book this hotel next time we visit Tokyo!

Is a bit far from the station and the hotel AC isn’t good enough! But they did offer use a fan. I would say you could have better options with this price. The view from the hotel.

Very nice hotel located in Ikebukuro. A huge shopping mall with lots of shops and restaurants right downstairs. You can get to JR Line and normal subway line within 10 minutes walking distance. We paid abit more for a bigger room. The room was spacious. Will definetly stay here again when we visit Tokyo next time.

Hotel is located in good location. Breakfast offers both Western and Japanese. If breakfast service starts at 6 am, it will be perfect as we take the 6.45 am limousine service to Narita airport, so we had only 10 minutes for super quick breaky.

Really good hotel room. BIG ENOUGH, clean, beautiful view, window in room(cant open) we stay in the highest floor so good. The worker can speak English. No bell boy you have to carry your luggage to your room by yourself. For me it is not comfortable for this room price. For location is a bit too far from the station. Walking for 20 minutes. Not easy for families who carry baby strollers.

Love Sunshine Prince Hotel. Tried a few others from my past trips to Tokyo but nothing beats them. Love the location, cleanliness and just everything. The view from higher floor is priceless. Wish they could provide better pillows.

A good location where we can have the Airport shuttles (Narita / Haneda) just in from of the hotel. It is also surrounded by numerous shopping area as well as eateries. The distance between the hotel to Ikerkuboro Station is very close by too. Have excellent view of the city.

Nice hotel located in Sunshine City! Loved the location, just a 10 minutes walk away from JR Ikebukuro station! Hotel staff were nice and friendly, they speak better English than other hotel staff that I’ve met throughout my trip. They were kind to allow us to check in 2 of our rooms before check in time as we had a child who was unwell. They also kindly kept our remaining luggages while we went for lunch before checking into the other rooms. Sunshine city is a kids friendly mall friendly mall with lots of kids facilities. And there is also an aquarium there!
