Hotel Listel Shinjuku

Clean and not noisy at all and the bed was very firm and I got a good night's rest. 24 hour reception too

I needed a hotel very last minute due to flights delays, and I was able to book this same day and for a day or so after. For the price point I knew what I was getting into, but still- poor service for Tokyo. I initially booked a non-smoking room and was placed into a smoking room and more or less had to complain into a non smoking room. The shower curtain and ceiling of the bathroom were moldy. The shower would also turn off randomly during use, or give random shots of freezing water. The bed was comfortable however and they provided fresh towels at the start of the day. It’s within walking distance of Shinjuku station and its substations so traveling around was easier then some hotels I’ve stayed in. Would I return? Most likely not. But for the price it served its purpose.

It's getting old. I've been staying here from itime to time since 2005. It really needs a proper renovation. Breakfast is nice but need to change more often. Staying for more than a week the breakfast only rotates between two sets. Staff is nice and friendly. Room cleaners are very friendly. The annex needs a microwave machine on some floors too. It's very inconvenient to have to go to another part building and take the elevator up to the 3rd floor just to use a microwave.

Staff here are so helpful, really helped me out!

It’s a decent price and great area for the price the hotel is a bit outdated but it does the job
