Katie's Cozy Cabins

We stayed there for 2 nights. Cabin was really cute however, It is not a 2 min walk to town so just know there is a walk to town so be prepared. No reflection on the owner. She was really nice and messaged us asking if there was anything she could get us. Fantastic experience with this property and owner.

Fun, western themed cabin. Slept 4 very comfortably. We appreciated the kitchenette (bring your own food) and it was walking distance to town. Front porch was a great place for coffee in the morning and glass of wine in the evening. We were visited by deer and beautiful birds AND watched few thunderstorms from the comfort of the porch. Last but not least, host Regina was the best host; she responded to every call and request immediately. Would wholeheartedly recommend Katie's Cozy Cabins!

Lovely little cabins just off the main road at Tombstone, everything you need for a comfortable stay and so peaceful at night, 5 minute walk in to town.Dedicated parking spot for your cabin. No housekeeping but if you need anything at all just give Regina a call and she will arrange anything you need. We would highly recommend staying here if you're in town, just like home from home. The only thing I would recommend to the owners would be blinds on the bedroom windows to keep the sun out in the morning bit this would certainly not deter us from staying again. 5 stars all the way 🙂🙂🙂

AMAZING QUIET CABIN AWAY FROM THE HUSTLE AND BUSTLE OF DOWNTOWN. THE CABINS ARE PET FRIENDLY, WITH A PORCH SWING TO RELAX. BE PREPARED..THE TOWN CLOSES DOWN AT 5 PM, SO ARRIVE EARLY IF YOU WANT TO SEE ANY HISTORY, GUN FIGHTS, AND SOUVENIER SHOPS. THE ONLY THING OPEN AFTER THIS IS THE SALOONS! BUT THE CABIN WAS A NICE BREAK FROM THE ROAD!

Arriving at Katie's Cozy Cabins around 7.30pm, just after sunset, we checked the latest emailed instructions for check in (we'd had 3, all identical), which were simply a Cabin number and a code for the lockbox outside the cabin door. We arrived to find 4 cabins in a line off the street, no general outside lighting and only a small light outside the door of each cabin as well as some decorative led's, making it quite difficult to see. We found the numbered cabin we had been allocated, stepped onto the wooden porch and began to try to unlock the box. After a little while, as it was gloomy, we realised the box already had the correct code and simply fell open when pulled, to reveal there was no key. We heard a terse voice from inside shouting 'occupied' at which point we stepped back a little, somewhat confused. The cabin door opened and a very angry biker stood in the doorway, clearly holding a gun and seemingly ready to use it if any action on our part gave him the slightest reason to. Slowly stepping away, we apologised for disturbing him and mumbled something about a mistake. Quite shaken up by this we drove away and called the contact number. After a while this was answered by Regina who nonchalantly explained that they had changed the cabin allocation and we should have had an email. We explained that no email had been received and our lives had been threatened, there was no hint of an apology. Beware and be warned, bungling admin like this could cost your life!!!

Here's the scoop: so I was confused about grilling areas/BBQ/etc. Before I arrived, I went shopping at Safeway in Benson and bought a bunch of hamburgers and hotdogs and buns and all that but it turns out there are no grills and it's actually prohibited to do so. There is an electric stove and pans provided so you could do it that way but I didn't want to stink up the cabin and luckily I was driving back to LA and brought my Yeti so I just kept the food on ice when I drove back. Also, there's no toaster lol. I bought some bagels and cream cheese also but didn't end up getting to eat it. As far as coffee goes, there's a 4-cup Mr. Coffee (you need to plug it in on the table under the TV) and my cabin was provided with those Folger coffee pads (the filter with the coffee inside). There were no filters either because I brought my own coffee grounds. The cabin next to me only had decaf coffee ground and a lot of filters. So go figure. (I was in cabin 2 he was in cabin 3). There were a few napkins provided but I'd advise bringing your own paper towels and extra napkins if you do plan on cooking. Nothing perishable either (ketchup, mustard, etc.). There was salt and pepper but that was about it as far as condiments go. These are not "negatives" by any means just things that I wish I knew in advance. The cabin was very well built! I could seriously live in one of them. Very clean too and other than what I mentioned above it had practically everything you needed. The AC worked great too. No worries there. Nice and cold. I've already recommended it to friends and family. If I'm ever back in Tombstone I'll for sure stay here again. Great trip!

What a find in Tombstone Arizona. Nothing like it here. Looked cute on TA doing my research, so decided to give it a try. Very clean inside, great linens provided for bathroom, and everything you need inside to cook a meal. I personally enjoyed the upstairs bed, which was queen size, and very comfortable. Very impressed with how they maintained the cabin and the garden( deer within arms reach nightly). Highly recommend as I did not see any other motel here in Tombstone that I would compare to the Kozy Cabins. Oh yeah…101 degree outside…72 inside.

If you are looking for cozy and close to town Kate’s is an excellent choice. We absolutely loved our stay. Being walking distance from town is great since parking can be in short supply. The cabin was very clean and had everything we needed and more for our stay. My family is planning another trip to Tombstone with a larger group and we will absolutely plan our stay around the availability of these cabins.

If you are traveling to Tombstone, AZ you must stay in one of Katie’s cozy cabins. They are clean, walking distance to town, and of course cozy! The cabin has everything you need and the owners are a call or text away if you did need them. My husband and I would definitely stay here again and will recommend it to anyone and everyone planning to visit the “town too tough to die”!
