Hotel Rock Regency Hampi

The ambience in the room not good. The beds are not comfortable. The quality of service needs to improve. Overall it is not worth the price.

Spacious rooms, prompt service, will stay again at rock regency on my next visit to vijaynagar surely.

Hotel looks to be old. Menu variety is very less for the cost we give. Not feeling fulfilled. Only idli and a loo pratha was there. Some fruits egg and bread tea. Receptionist make us delay so long for even check out. They were arguing with few other customers on the day check out.

I recently stayed at this hotel, and unfortunately, it was a nightmare from start to finish. The reception staff was incredibly unhelpful and lacked basic courtesy. Wifi was poor here an c unfortunately my phone network was bad. When i requested a fix for the wifi, it took them 30 minutes just to send a technician, who left saying he would return shortly but never did. After 1. 5 hours, i had to call the receptionist again, only to be told that they were unaware of the issue and they will get back but again they had no courtesy to inform me anything. Eventually, i had ti call them again and i was informed that the wifi wasn’t working in my room due to rain and was advised to shift rooms if i needed internet access. If the wifi didn’t work because of rain, how would it magically work in another room? clearly, they were not being honest. Another disappointing experience was with room service. When i tried to repeat my order to ensure it was correct, the restaurant staff got irritated and as expected, my order arrived incorrect. The lack of willingness to listen to customers was evident and frustrating. The only positive aspect of my stay was the housekeeping staff, who did an excellent job keeping the room clean. This one star rating is for him. Unfortunately, this one positive doesn’t make up for the otherwise terrible experience. I will not be returning to this hotel and cannot recommend it to others.

Location is ok, parking is ok. The check-in service is not good, especially the boy who carries the luggage starts his hunt for tip as soon as he meets you, probably he acts too smart and crosses line. Food is average, breakfast quality is not good and too expensive. The lady at breakfast counter needs some manners. Restaurant staff are good, house keeping staff are good hotel rooms are stinky.

We stayed in rock regency ; it was a very simple, clean and budgeted stay with a balanced breakfast package. Hotel staffs were very polite and explained the procedure which they practice in the hotel. The property has three restaurants which are family friendly ones. The staff at the restaurant were service oriented customer focused and have taken out time to explain the dishes which may have spice level variations based on the region. There is super market (more) within the property campus which provides all the necessary items for traveler / family. I recommend this hotel for families who look for a budget friendly stay
