Acorn Lodge

The bed was super comfy and cosy. The room was decorated beautifully and modern and the shower was lush, super powerful and lovely. The breakfast was tasty and the hosts was really lovely. We had a lovely weekend away and would definitely come to Acorn lodge again. Thank you ☺️

What a lovely B&B..the hosts Deb and Mike are very welcoming and accommodating..the room we had was the family room which was huge and very nicely decorated..great that they had toys and games for the kids too.. excellent breakfast and coffee in the morning too.. highly recommended

Just got home from a fabulous weekend at this beautiful hotel what can I say a lovely place everywhere was spotless clean and very homely fab hosts deb and Mike nothing was too much trouble for them breakfast was freshly cooked for your allocated time would recommend this hotel and will definitely be returning

We had a wonderful stay at Acorn Lodge, I feel B&Bs can vary so much and it is all down to how the owners care for their place and the care taken really shows here. We stayed in a beautifully decorated room which had plenty of space and a lot of light coming in. The bathroom was modern and very clean. The room could not be faulted at all. The bed was comfortable and there was plenty of storage to keep bags. The breakfast was order the night before for the following morning for the cooked parts. This was cooked perfectly, as you would cook it at home. Only comment might be that the bacon was smoked, I only like the unsmoked but thats just me being picky! You could have a full english if you chose to. Toast and cereals were also available. Served by the host who was very lovely and friendly. Even helped us when we had trouble getting in through the front door. There is a car park as part of the B&B but I would recommend parking on the road where possible because it can be a bit tight especially if there are already a couple of cars in there. The location is good, 20-25 mins walk from the main seafront although coming back is up a hill. If I returned to Torquay I would stay here again if available.

So just got home from an amazing stay at acorn lodge, and all I can say, is WOW!! Deb's and Mike are great hosts, very accommodating, brilliant hospitality, beautiful breakfast, rooms are clean and well kept and modern would highly recommend to anyone heading down to Torquay will defenatly be returning

Stayed in Acorn lodge Hotel in Torquay for 4 nights, the hosts Deb and Mike made us so welcome and at home. We had room 3 which was beautifully furnished with everything you needed and a balcony with loungers and a table overlooking the lovely surrounding gardens. Breakfast every day was fresh and delicious with an abundance of choice. The overall cleanliness of the entire building was excellent 👌 👏. We have definitely made this our return to place whenever we are over from France visiting our family.
