Travelodge Torquay

The stay was pleasant, the room was basic but clean missed not having a bath and just a shower missed simple things like a hair dryer in the room although when requested at the reception I was given one and lack of choice of coffee and tea in the room. It was very nice that there was no noise at night and meant a decent night's sleep. Breakfast was acceptable, but you have to get there early when it comes out hot from the kitchen, or it is all cold from spending to long under the hot plates. The only big downside is it's a good 30mns walk from the town centre although buses seem to run outside the hotel but there is a good-sized car park if you drive. The room was small but fine for just my 2 nights stay and acceptable. I'm not sure the room size, lack of luxuries and breakfeast beng hit and miss would make it comfortable for a longer stay.

Nice and comfy place

I wanted to express my gratitude for my recent stay. Everything was great! The rooms were tidy and clean, and the food was delicious. I especially appreciated the excellent reception from Alona. She was incredibly helpful and friendly, demonstrating great professionalism while assisting an autistic person.
