What a wonderful place food 5 star spotless accommodation. Beautiful little touches lovely walks and such a pleasant host nothing to much trouble definitely a return here at some point. Before we had left home, we was made welcome by Abi and knew our stay would be rewarding. Very clean throughout, with lovely home feel to the room especially as we was allowed to bring our Labrador with us. The Belmont was a simple 5min walk from the town centre and even more lovely walk to the harbour and Torre Abbey. So many eateries and attractions in a close radius made it easy to visit while staying. Thank you for your hospitality Abi and we look forward to seeing you again soon.

Fantastic host, lovely rooms. Breakfast to die for near the sea what more could you ask for. Took my 2 dogs either me also no problem in taking them in with us for breakfast. They were even given a sausage each. If you book a parking space which are limited it's a very tight squeeze, really only suitable for the smaller car. There is limited parking on the road

This was a repeat visit having stayed here last year too, and I was welcomed back like a family member coming home for the holidays! It felt like a home from home. The location is great, its a 10-15 walk from the station, which if you don’t have too much luggage is lovely in nice weather, or just a few minutes in a taxi and it’s just a short walk from the seafront. My room was spotlessly clean and very comfortable with high quality linen on the bed. The breakfast room at the front of the building is light and airy and has a great selection of juices and d cereals etc. Ground coffee and cafetières are provided for delicious coffee with breakfast and both mornings I opted for the full English. The owner Abi cooks breakfast and it’s highly recommended. The sausages are top quality and I love the attention to detail of the baked beans being served piping hot in a ramekin on the plate!

The Belmont is a nice guesthouse, perfectly located between the train station and the beach. We had room 7 on the top floor (no lift), which had a lot of good facilities and was really neat and tidy. The negative things: the bed was too soft for our taste, the room was a bit warm and the shower/toilet is very small. But those thingd were more than compensated by the freshly cooked breakfast, the level of hygiene in and outside the room, the great atmospere and Abi, one of the owners, a super friendly lady who gave good practical tips for our stay. Overall: highly recommended!

We had a wonderful 4 night stay the room was very comfortable and welcoming. Breakfasts were great with plenty of choice, thank you Abi for the fried bread!! Thank you again Abi for sorting out a space for my husbands mobility scooter. We will definitely be back. Thank you again for such a warm welcome 🤗
