Another's fabulous stay at this perfect hotel. Host Wendy and Steve certainly go above and beyond to make this a truly wonderful experience, the spotless luxurious bedroom and bathroom . The amazing quality and choice of breakfast. The information they provide regarding things to do and see of the area and their friendliness and lovely conversations. We will certainly return again.

The owners were very friendly and helpful, they knew a lot of information about the area, the hotel was spotless, and very spacious, and the breakfast was superb, the best I have had anywhere, the beds were really comfortable, and the daily cakes were an added bonus, would definitely stay here again and recommend to everyone

We booked this hotel based on reviews and was absolutely delighted. Very friendly host and rooms were very clean and spacious. There wasn't anything the host couldn't do for us. The breakfast was amazing and my favourites were the pancakes. Hoping to go back there soon. It's conveniently located near the seafront and the Abbey, also not too far from the station.

First time in Torquay and my friend highly recommend The Berburry Hotel . The hosts are a lovely couple and they cannot do enough for you ! Steve’s local knowledge of the area was very helpful /useful. Wendy’s breakfast is outstanding and such a huge Choice. The Berburry has a lovely atmosphere and spotlessly clean . Looking forward to my next solo visit .

The hotel has exceeded our expectations - the room was lovely, location was perfect - very close to Torre Abbey and the seafront. The owner, Wendy, was very helpful and gave us a lot of useful tips on what to see in the area and around. We enjoyed our stay and will definitely stay at the Berburry again!

We were deciding between a larger chain hotel closer to the seafront versus a bed and breakfast and we are so glad that we decided to stay at the Berburry. Conveniently located near the railway station, Torre Abbey, and the seafront, our stay was pleasant and comfortable. We especially loved that breakfast was included as it is difficult to find great restaurants for breakfast in Torquay. The full English breakfast, pancakes, and smashed avocado toast were all delicious. They also offered continental breakfast items such as cereal, juice, and yogurt. Chilled water bottles were available for us to take, and fresh baked goods were also available. The room that we stayed in was very comfortable, clean, and modern. Overall, it was a lovely stay, and we want to give a huge thank you to Wendy and Steve for making us feel like at home!

The Berburry is an exceedingly good hotel, there are few words to describe how good it is. Exceptional, efficacious, excellent and outstanding are a few to begin with. Our delight upon arrival was off the scale, to be greeted so warmly by the owners of this superb hotel left us feeling ebullient. Upon being shown to our room we became ecstatic. I really cannot find the words to tell you how good this hotel is, from the decor to the breakfast, from the welcome to the farewell I cannot fault the Berburry. In fact, being honest, I am a little jealous of sharing with you how much we enjoyed our stay, you may book the same dates as I want next time we return and I might have to change my dates, I certainly would not change the hotel. Wendy and Steve are the perfect hosts and are full of information about local attractions and events to share with you. You will not be disappointed when you visit the Berburry.

This is our second visit to The Berburry hotel. Our room was absolutely superb, spotlessly clean and the bed was so comfortable…. The best nights sleep! The choice of breakfast is fantastic and the quality is truly exceptional. The honesty bar is superb, has a good selection of drinks which is great for pre drinks before going out and a night-cap before bed! The location is really close to the sea front and central Torquay. Wendy and Steve are really lovely hosts and couldn’t do enough for us. Based upon their recommendation we had a fantastic day out in Dartmouth, enjoying our journey on a steam train and having a great river cruise. Wendy and Steve would make fantastic tour guides! We’ve already planned our next visit to The Berburry hotel later in the year!

The Berburry Hotel is just the perfect place to stay at when visiting Torquay. The owners are friendly, professional and able to help with anything we might have needed. The room (and our friends' rooms) were beautiful in every detail, spotless clean, cozy and of the perfect size. The breakfast menu was mouthwatering, everything freshly prepared with quality products. The highlight was the "cake of the day" waiting for us on our arrival and always available for tea time, we just loved the small (but so important) details that this place offered. Car park was available on site, train station is just down the road and a short walk by the sea took us directly to the centre and the port. We have definitely found a place we will go back to; thank you for making our stay so wonderful.
