It was very bad hot water didn’t work smelly wet very old didn’t even have a good feeling door didn’t close couldn’t even stay there end up going somewhere else no

Not what I expected when I first walked in but the room had been renovated and looked nice. The price reflected the service. The only thing was, there was no cups for the tea and we did ask and still didn’t get them. Apart from that it was lovely and even had a balcony with a sea view! Amazing

AVOID Sockets couldn't be used as there was wood panelling blocking the plug. No remote control. Carpet covered in stains. Paint splatter everywhere. No cups. The place was the eeriest place I've ever been to. Handed one small towel on arrival. I then got given plastic cups for my coffee. Rooms were used as dumping ground for old mattresses and broken furniture. Felt so uncomfortable and unsafe, I left an hour after arrival

Ok so we paid 60 quid so didn't expect the Ritz but neither did I expect a sock on the room smoke detector which was hanging off the ceiling, and an electrical switch actually in the shower. The bed was beyond hard, the paintwork was primary school standard and there was a building site in some rooms. Really poor standard and decidedly not like the pics in the advert.

We booked to stay here. When we arrived they booked us into a room that somebody was already staying in. We didn’t stay at this booking as didn’t feel safe. There was nobody in reception to talk to the whole time we was there. So we left and booked in with a travel lodge

Possible the worst hotel I have ever been to, dirty, smelly and extremely run down, terrible beds with no mattress protectors inadequate parking, need I go on, avoid! Then again what did I expect for the money. Only plus point, staff were pleasant, but I suspect they are used to a lot of abuse.

Terrible terrible terrible experience This is the worst place with the worst ‘customer service’ and refund policy I have EVER gone to. No main curtain, filthy net curtain Dirty sheets, Un-hoovered carpets Dust everywhere Burnt bedbase!!! Dirty bathroom The customer service line is an absolute sham - they refuse to give any money back and you are unable to pursue anything with them absolutely shocking

This hotel should not be open. We had travelled down from Milton Keynes to spend the weekend at Richmond Hotel, as a little get away. We did NOT even stay due to the state of our family room. Bath panel hanging off, floor boards all lifted in bathroom, cigarette burns on pillow (they had no cases on them) stained bedsheets, hair, dust, left over wrappers and food on the floor, used body wash, no toilet roll, no towels the list goes on. I’m all up for staying in 1,2,3 star hotels but the most you expect is a clean welcoming room. Won’t be back.

Staff lovely but first room we were put in had smashed window and this was same for others no restaurant as advertised not disabled friendly as no lift rooms really hot no fan provided main light in room 7 hanging off ceiling floorboards dodgy big health and safety problem should not be open under refurbishment will not be back
