Exton House (Via AirBnB) BEWARE.. . I write this on here to warn future AirBnB bookers of this accomodation since you can only leave a review on AirBnB after your stay…which I didn’t!!! I booked for a group back in Oct23, only to find out today 11Sep24, that my booking was cancelled, without explanation , for 23Sep25. .. Yep, 8 days before we were due to stay there! Both deposit and final payment were successfully auto-paid via Apple Pay. Upon checking the accomodation is showing as “booked” for 2 of the 3 days we had booked. No explantion for cancellation was given but full refund provided, but will have to to wait up to 15 days. Summary…beware of booking this place, you could find yourself without accomodation at short notice, regardless of how far in advance you booked. BEWARE!

5 B&B Rooms Capable of holding 14 people. Fully booked right to the end of the season Family run Jane & John are great hosts Lots of repeated customers Nice Italian coffee served in a cafetiere . That I loved Parking on site is a big factor for us This is a big old property with lots of character Lovely choice at breakfast. Fresh fruit, yogurt full cooked breakfast. We felt nothing was too much trouble at all Would we return or recommend absolutely Great value for what we’ve paid being out of season

Me and my partner stayed over the weekend and it was absolutely amazing really good location loads of places to see Jon and Julie gave us loads of info and advice about things to do in the area and we're extremely helpful and welcoming we will deffo recommend this to our friends as it really is a hidden gem

The room is beautiful and the house well kept and well stocked with gorgeous furnishings and books. Breakfast was plentiful and cooked to perfection. Our hosts have been charming and very helpful. Overall, it's been a lovely weekend visit and I will use this B&B again for future visits to Torquay.
