Riu Nautilus - Adults Only

Amazing holiday. Ignore the bad reviews, there is nothing to complain about in this hotel. We took a taxi from the airport, just to get there quickly but couldn’t get into the room until 15:00 hours. We had food in the snack bar and enjoyed the sun. We were in the annex, 3rd floor (lift available) rooms 344 and 345 and they have the comfiest bed and pillows, we had such a good sleep. Huge wardrobes and plenty of hangers. Lovely bathroom, huge walk-in shower. Side View of the beach, sea and marina from our balcony and late afternoon sun. Good air-conditioning in the room. Breakfast and evening meal had so much choice with lots of healthy options. Carmen and Antonio were great in the restaurant, always smiling and interacting with the guests. Drinks reasonably priced. Towards the end of our week, the restaurant and snack bar area were short staffed. Evening entertainment every night was better than usual hotel entertainment. Mixed group of international guests at the hotel, majority of guests over age 45 and in couples. Easily accessible hotel with many of the guests using mobility scooters. Chair lift in/out of the pool and lifeguard on duty. Sun beds usually reserved by 9.30am. Easy access to beach and promenades through a gate at the back of the pool area. Indoor gym was small but adequate, indoor pool nice but cold with lots of loungers around it. Lots of returning guests at this hotel. Any questions please ask. Pros: Lovely and clean hotel inside. Food is excellent and plenty of it. Beds and pillows were extremely comfortable Large comfortable rooms Cons Pool area dirty - not cleaned daily Sun beds not cleaned at all Have to get up early to put towels on beds as most other people do this by 06.00 No music or entertainment during the day Evening entertainment was not the best Older people mainly at this hotel so when we put our music on quietly around the pool we was asked to turn it off!!! Pool water was only tested once that we saw in 10 days Pool was only cleaned twice in 10 days Hotel told us that on the day of departure that our contract with them finished at 12.00 Could not keep our room or any other room for a late checkout ad they were fully booked Parakeets by pool very noisy Will not be going back to this hotel EVER!!!

Just returned after staying here for a week. Worst holiday ever. Spent the second half of the week sick in my room with severe diarrhoea/sickness and fever. Only uk tv channel was bbc or sky news stuck in a small old dated room with a bath and shower curtain ! Quite a few other guests were also sick with the same ailments we spoke to. Only ate here at the buffet restaurant the whole time and found the antibac dispensers were almost always empty. Herds of people going through with no visible hygiene happening. Definitely would not return.

Just returned from a week at this hotel still suffering from some nasty food poisoning. Spent 4 days in my room with horrendous diarrhoea and fever. TUI you need to let people know if your hotel is infected as it’s not fair on the lots of people you’ve made sick this week. They don’t even refill their antibac dispensers knowing there’s a problem !

A beautiful mini 4 night break to recharge, unwind ,walk and shop staying in this gorgeous hotel. It is an excellent hotel in every way, comfort, ambiance surroundings pool area, food is beautiful, lovely staff, welcoming , spotless, beautiful decor and layout. All age groups were staying here, all happy , friendly people enjoying their lovely surroundings. A special mention to Rapheal in dining room who always got me a lovely table and to Priscilla in housekeeping who found a lost ring. A faultless hotel

Our first visit to Riu Nautilus Torremolinos and we were very impressed with the location right on the beach and close to shops. The food was lovely, although would like to have more vegetarian options. The staff are very friendly & we enjoyed our stay. Thank you Riu

Stayed in this hotel for 10 days in September. Stayed in RIU Palace in Tenerife last year and it was better, probably why it has the extra star. If I hadn’t stayed there first I would have thought this was the best hotel I had stayed in!

Just returned from this lovely hotel. Really can’t find any fault to disclose!! Extremely clean, kind helpful staff, a tranquil place in a busy location, right on the beach front. The rooms met all our needs, comfortable bed, lovely shower, great view. I can definitely recommend this hotel.
