Reception area, restaurant area probably 5* but the rooms are definitely not. Comfortable beds yes, nice walk in shower yes, the decor and tiling are definitely not 5* The desk in the room serves zero purpose. A set of drawers would be much better in a room without much room or storage. The rooms are nice and cosy and that’s it. The food in the restaurant we think is fabulous, lots of choices and extremely good quality. But there are faults. At breakfast time 7.30am. We like to get in early, there’s no staff to clear the tables. We have stayed in the Santa Lucia, son matias, Samos, vista nova, Hawaii, Honolulu to name a few and as soon as we have finished our plates have gone in all of them and none are 5*. By the end of breakfast we had a table full of used plates and dishes, not a good look for a 5* hotel. Only fault we found with the food was the poached eggs, far too much vinegar and the eggs can be undercooked, nobody wants a snotty egg,, it’s not my job to switch the toasters on every morning either. Who’s in charge ? Who’s checking things are done properly? It would seem no one. There’s lots of choice food wise and evening dining is fantastic, loads to choose from and excellent quality, can’t imagine anyone being disappointed with the food in the hotel, forgot to mention the coffee machines never seemed to work as they should, I’m a tea man so only required hot water so I was fine, Any questions please feel free to ask
