FERGUS Style Tobago - Adults Only

Location was near both beaches and nightlife without being so close as to be annoying. Rooms were nice and beds were comfortable.

This hotel is by far the best in the area.Good location right near the beach . We upgraded to suite at a very reasonable price and it’s amazing,with separate area upstairs with jacuzzi and double sun lounger and the room its self is excellent. The breakfast here is quality and with plenty of choice.The staff are all very pleasant and friendly. We wouldn’t stay anywhere else.

I visited Fergus Style Tobago on May 31st for a week to celebrate mine and my partner’s anniversary, here is my honest review of the stay :) PROS - - Staff are very friendly. They helped with any query nothing was too much, and always greeted you as you walked in to the hotel. Pool bar staff were also friendly, you were never left without a drink in your hand as they would walk around and ask if you wanted a drink, then would deliver it on a tray to your sunbed! You could choose to pay on either card, or it could be charged to your room and you could pay it when checking out, which I found to be useful. - The location was good - beach on your doorstep, right between the nightlife or the more chilled vibes - Rooftop bar was beautiful - you do have to pay for sunbeds here, however I was quite happy to use the chairs as the view was amazing and you can still use the infinity pool. - Beautiful balcony views - we requested a sea view and that’s what we got! - The cocktails were gorgeous and reasonably priced. - We were bed and breakfast - breakfast is served until 10:30am so you have plenty of time Robes to go down. The food was nice. - Do not have to pay to use hotel beach towels - Checking in and out was a quick and easy process - People criticise the pool area for being too small, however we found it to be the perfect size! We were lucky enough to always be able to find a sunbed, however I do acknowledge that we didn’t not visit in the high season, so I can imagine this would be more difficult in June/July time. - The whole hotel smelt like a spa, which I noticed the second I entered. - The hotel is clean and cleaners are friendly - Robes and slippers provided in rooms. CONS- - Pool area shaded until around 12pm. Also, pool was not open between 10-6. - Reception bar was only open between 11-3, therefore when me and my partner were waiting for our coach transfer as we were leaving we could not order a drink as I would usually do as it was at 8pm. - Little privacy in the rooms - didn’t bother me too much as I visited with my partner, however if I was with any body else it would have made me uncomfortable. No separate room for the bathroom, and the shower and the toilet are covered with a frosted glass door, which you are able to see outlines of the person using them through. - The street was noisy all through the night with drunk people as the hotel is very close to the Magaluf strip, making it difficult to sleep. - Although the breakfast was nice and there was variety, it was the same things every day. - Air conditioning worked but not too well, did not make much of a difference to the room temperature and turned off randomly. However we didn’t find the rooms to be uncomfortably hot at any point so I didn’t mind it, however again in high season when it is hotter I could imagine it may get uncomfortable. - Double bed was actually two singles pushed together. - You could not pay with cash for drinks, which was a bit frustrati
