Ora Hotel Priorat, a Member of Design Hotels

Quiet hotel that excels at providing a quiet, non-intrusive experience while at the same time making sure you have everything you need. If sitting out for dinner/breakfast, relaxing with a book over wine, and generally unwinding is what you what, this hotel and the town are for you. Christian and the staff were extremely helpful, and the drive in/out isn't as tricky as it seems. Easy parking in town, a restaurant/bar up the street, but otherwise just a great quiet escape.

It is hard to believe that a such tiny hotel exists hidden from reality. We stayed at this hotel for 3 nights during our private wine tour. The room is simple and has no frills. Do not expect soft bathrobes and slippers. They do not offer laundry either. The room had minimal items. But that was enough to relax in the room. We felt that we did not need anything more. The village itself is very quiet, except the church bell rings every 15 minutes throughout the day and the night. The hotel has a nice common space with a few tables for breakfast and dinner services. The menu is simple, and you must reserve your spot by 5 pm for dinner. Also select what you will have for breakfast the night before. Again, this is a tiny hotel, more like with B & B style. No elevator, so if your room is located on the top floor which is the third floor, you will have to carry your bags. Of course, you can ask for help. Cristian made us feel very comfortable. Toasted bread and tomatoes are served with dinner which was great. Also, there is an outside terrace to sip wine with snack. The hotel was very Tranquille so was our vacations. By the way you need a good pair of walking shoes to visit this village.

My wife, brother-in-law and sister-in-law had the good fortune of staying in this wonderful boutique hotel while visiting nearby Clos de l’Obac winery ( not to be missed ! ) Ora Hotel is located in a small and idyllically charming mountaintop village of Priorat. Yes, the hotel can aptly be described as off the beaten path. Driving on the narrow, winding mountain roads leading to the Ora Hotel is the epitome of “off the beaten path.” However, after our stay here, with the very comfortable amenities, the patio that provides a view of the gorgeous countryside and is a perfect place to enjoy breakfast or relax with a glass of wine in the evening, and the wonderful service provided by Christian, the idea that while on vacation this is EXACTLY where you want to be - off the beaten path, is reinforced. It’s impossible not to feel relaxed in the idyllic setting of this intimate and comfortable boutique hotel with breathtaking views. Christian does a great job making guests feel at home, a vastly different feel than derived from a larger impersonal hotel. I urge you, if traveling through Priorat, THIS is the hotel you want to stay at !

Superb experience in this fantastic boutique hotel. Located in a small charling village in El Priorat, great for couples looking for a retreat or wine lovers. Rooms are renovated and all facilities are impecable decorated. Service by staff is great and all details are looked after

The staff are very friendly and service is excellent. They check on our arrival time and schedule in prior and arrange everything before checking in. The room is neat and cute. You can just chill, relax and appreciate the landscape in the hotel.

Hotel exclusivo, de gran calidad y muy bien decorado en pleno pueblo de Torroja del Penedès. La atención del equipo del hotel es muy personal en un entorno único de tranquilidad y encanto. Hemos pasado un fantástico fin de semana con amigos visitando algunasde las bodegas locales, el impressionant órgano original de 1700 de la iglesia del pueblo, visita guiada por la cartuja de Escala Dei, y con una fantástica cata de vinsos en el hotel. En el hotel Ora hemos descubierto un rinconcito con encanto en medio del Priorat.
