Lirio Lodge

Absolutely incredible location. So quiet and calm. There's wildlife everywhere and it appears to not be that bothered by the few people that are around. The little canoes are perfect for getting out onto the water without disturbing the animals in the trees. Food is incredible and huge portions ,the staff are kind and super helpful. Rooms are slightly basic but totally fine, showers are warm! There's starlink internet too!

This place is nature lovers' paradise. You will feel really inmersed in the tropical forest. There are plenty of tours that will give you very detailed information about the surroundings, plants and animals that dwell here. Our guide (thanks Daniela) was awesome through the whole trip, she knows a lot and is very attentive to answer all questions in full detail. I didn't visit in turtle season but saw plenty of monkeys, caymans, sloths and a very wide variety of colorful birds. The hotel staff is super friendly, and the place very relaxing. I was very surprised that given the remoteness and limited access to the resort (only by boat) that the hotel is very well equipped, and the meals and service were superb.

A wonderful place in Barra Pacuare. The boat to the lodge is already a delight, seeing a lot of animals and a tourguide, who told us all about the plants and animals. During the 2 days we were there, we had a few tours and saw a lot of monkeys, frogs, sloth, sea turtles and the birth of turtles. The staff is very friendly and helps in any way possible. I am recommending this to friends and family to visit if coming to Costa Rica! Pura Vida
