El Colibri - Relais & Châteaux

Truly unique and hard to find again. A lovely property, huge estancia with great scenery and wildlife including many horses, alpacas, sheep, … but the best is the team! In particular I need to mention Sofia, Léo and Carlos. So warm and authentic - we will come back for sure

I cannot say enough amazing things about our stay here. From the moment we were picked up till the moment we were dropped off everything was perfect. The meals were all incredible. Every horseback ride was a dream, ensuring that we saw and experienced different things every time. The staff was perfection. Our room was lovely. The grounds and farm are something out of a fairy tale. I did not want to leave! Special thanks to Sofia, Leo, Carlito, Franco, and Hernan for making an already incredible stay much more!

Estancia El Colibri was amazing, we stayed at La Maison, the house on the property. It was a wonderful retreat and we could have our meals there or at the hotel. The food was amazing. When people talk about eating local, they do this and in style. The staff at the hotel couldn't have been more helpful and kind. We felt very welcomed. We got laundry done too, which was helpful on a longer trip. And finally the riding, I don't think I have ever seen horse-riding daughter so happy. She rode 3x a day. The Gaucho we amazing. We walked each day, it was a true Argentina experience.

We specifically came to El Colibri after staying at the owners' sister property, House of Jasmines in Salta. Our stay was wonderful and we hope to return soon. We were a family of 4 and we enjoyed all the activities - horseback ridings in the evenings, a wine tasting, a picnic lunch, and visiting with the farm animals. The massage I received was one of the best I've received before and it was so great that my husband I both got massages two days in a row. We appreciated the welcoming staff (Franco, Sebastian, Leo, and the sommelier whose name I've forgotten). We stayed in the Salta suite and had a king bed in one room while our boys slept well on a pull out couch. Thank you again for your hospitality!

I had the chance to stay in R&C hotels all over the world. Makes me extraordinary happy to find the same standards in my own country. Absolutely remarkable staff, delightful tranquility and peace. A perfect stay and totally recommendable. Congratulations to the entire group of employees. We will be coming back soon.

Clean, spacious and brightly presented rooms. The estancia, staff and food is amazing; a hidden gem. Lovely breakfasts, lunches and dinners which vary in choice. The estancia grounds are beautiful offering a variety of trails and scenery for daily rides. They offer multiple rides a day which we took advantage of and the gaucho was amazing offering variety of riding. The staff can’t do enough for you and are so welcoming and very friendly. It is so relaxing and we felt really at home. You really get a feel for the teams passion and commitment to the farm. The farm visit is a must and interesting how sustainable they are from farm to plate. The chefs detail is second to none, even coming round the tables each evening - a credit to the place and rounding off the experience as a whole. The wine cellar tasting is also a must! The place made our trip to Argentina and we cannot wait to visit again. Thank you all!
