Ash Farm Country House

Came to Ash Farm for a two-night stay, while visiting the area. The house is in a lovely area within walking distance to NT Dunham Massey, it is quiet with easy parking and not far from the M56 and the M6. The room was extremely comfortable with appropriate heating. The bed had nice linen and provided one of the best sleeps I’ve had for a while. There is plenty of coffee and tea in the room, with a nice biscuit barrel. The room and bathroom were spotless and could not be faulted. Christian in the kitchen cooks an amazing breakfast with wonderful presentation, the whole breakfast arrangement is extremely satisfying with a good choice of cereal, fruits and the like with homemade bread and preserves. On the whole, this was an excellent stay of a comfortable room and an enjoyable breakfast. Did I mention the hosts, David and Janice? They put the cherry on the top and could not do enough to make our stay relaxing and pleasurable. Thanks to the three of you for a great stay, Ash Farm is definitely on the list if we are back in the area.

A superb B&B with lovely character but everything you need for a good nights sleep and an excellent breakfast and more. Good location for NT Dunham Massey and the adjacent pub. What more can one want when travelling. We will be back if passing by again.

We have been staying at Ash Farm each July since 2013 with a break in 2020 for Covid19 We started off in room 2 with its 7-foot bed and from the next year onwards we have stayed in room 1 with its four-poster bed We chose room 1 as it is well appointed with a decent shower but also because it has 4 opening windows which given the increasingly hot summers allow for a gentle breeze – all this in addition to flatscreen TV – sherry – and decent wi-fi Another reason for staying with our choice is its location – just off the M56 – within walking distance of NT Dunham Massey – and next door to the Swan with 2 Nicks – as well as being close to Tatton Hall and the annual flower show in July The breakfast is another high point – the menu is extensive with locally sourced items and cooked to order plus fruits yoghurts and cereals a choice of juices and excellent coffee – you just need to leave extra time for the cooking As the Tatton Flower will not be returning until 2027 we unfortunately will not be returning immediately which is a shame as by now I would have booked room 1 for next July – but our thanks and good wishes go to David Jan and Christian for making us feel so welcome and giving us the Ash Farm experience – thank you

If you want a quiet, peaceful and relaxing break, I could not recommend Ash Farm highly enough, to wake in the morning to nothing but the dawn chorus is exceptional. Plenty of grounds to relax in, and a smashing country pub next door. Breakfast is a must, everything on offer, more than you could wish for, and the owners and staff cannot be more obliging to make your stay enjoyable. The guest house and grounds are fantastic. Definitely in my top five. And it's only 10 minutes from the airport.

The welcome was genuine the rooms were spacious and clean. Tea and coffee was plentiful. Nice touch with an actual biscuit barrel. Breakfast was outstanding. Beautifully presented what a lovely place to stay. No downside any where. Thank you

What a fantastic Guest House, we stayed for one night and had breakfast in the morning which was also fantastic. Ash farm is located in a stunning rural location near the canal which is a beautiful walk and next to a very good pub. It is a Georgian farm house which has kept a lot of original features and was decorated for lovely for Christmas, it is very comfortable and run brilliantly by Janice, David and breakfast chef Christian who were extremely welcoming.

We stayed at Ash Farm Country Guest House for one night while visiting a relative in Altrincham. It was clean, comfortable, friendly and great value. Ideally situated in a lovely country setting with a pub right next door! The facilities were as one would expect, with a very good shower. The bed was cosy and comfortable. Complimentary sherry in the room, kettle for tea/coffee making. We enjoyed a good nights sleep. Then a great breakfast! The eggs royale was superb and in a lovely setting, well presented. Overall very happy with our experience and will hopefully have the chance to stay again.

We came over to Manchester to visit our family and we stayed two nights at Ash Farm . The hospitality was outstanding nothing is too much for the hosts . They offer an outstanding experience from the moment you arrive. They went above and beyond for us by allowing our family of 8 to join us , to have breakfast on the Sunday morning before we departed for home . The breakfast which was cooked by the Wife of the Husband and Wife team Was exceptional and front of house by the Husband is so welcoming and helpful The accommodation is beautiful with lots of unique features and personalised touches . We will always return to this accommodation .

Lovely farm house,set in the Quintessential tiny Cheshire village of Little Bollington. Right next door to a lovely English country pub. Great location for country walks, one of which is finest country parks Cheshire has to offer. I highly recommend that you opt for the full English Breakfast… oh man that fried bread (home made).. outstanding A lovely place to stay in a beautiful part of England. My only gripe not was the local pub closed on Saturday 6th May,because some guy in London was getting a new hat Big thanks to Dave & Jan We both had a fantastic weekend. Will definitely return
