Tralee Benners Hotel

Loved this hotel, right in the center. Wonderful place to sit with a drink and catch up on some reading. Old style armchairs, an atmosphere of historical charming care and a very up to date food menu. Five minute walk from train and bus station. The staff were lovely, genuine concern and smiles. Definitely my hotel should I ever return.

It's always a pleasure to stay at Benners. From my arrival time to my departure time. I'm always looked after very well. The staff are a pleasure to deal with. Rooms are always well maintained very comfortable and warm. Service in the bar is very professional.

The bathroom was a bit dusty, but apart from that the hotel was quite honest and a bit expensive, most probably related to the fact i did a late reservation. Good restaurant on the other hand, very good food and ambiance, and fair price strongly recommended.

Was at a christening here before. Only joined the christening for the last hour or so as I was at work. So it finished up early enough around half 8 9ish and I went in to the main bar with a few more family members as the christening was held in the back in a private function room, and went up to order a drink only to be told I was not allowed have one I had to leave. There was no reason given only just I was not allowed even though I was in there at a christening for two hours beforehand. They were happy enough to have my money for two hours but not after that. I was never barred from the pub, I would never drink at the pub either just plain and simple I was not allowed into the posher side. I would never again step foot inside there and advise anyone who doesn’t look the “part” to not enter also.

Our introduction to the hotel was the broken elevator, but our room was on the first floor (which being Europe means one floor up from ground) so not a big deal. The staff offered to carry luggage if needed. Following checking our group had dinner and it was good. Th e food was better than average, not exceptional but good. We were a group of 27 and it appeared that we were being served by one person, Caitlyn (maybe Kaitlyn). Having worked service for years I know this is not ideal, or fun. Nonetheless she was amazing, constantly smiling and being pretty efficient. I would definitely stay gain, hopefully with a working lift but even if not, no worries.

Stayed in Benners Hotel with a hen party of 30, Hotel exceeded all expectations, staff was friendly , professional and accommodating. Rooms were spacious and spotless. Dinner was delicious and I can honestly say that breakfast was one of the best hotels breakfasts I’ve ever had. I will definitely be booking in for my next stay in Dingle!
