Modern on the outside the interior exudes an air of old world grandeur. Our room was comfortable with a lovely view. Well located for the train station and also the centre of Trento. Both a few minutes walk away. We had an excellent meal in the hotel restaurant. Started with a selection of local cheeses, followed by rare tuna and a selection of vegetables. The watermelon sorbet with mojito granita was an unusual and refreshing dessert. Impeccable service. I would thoroughly recommend this hotel.

Nice hotel, a little old fashioned for my taste, the location was perfect. Nice reception and lounge. Room: Decent size, however, the bed really needs a mattress. For a tall guy, the bed was nearly on the floor, and sadly, I came home with a bad back. It does not need the fancy gadgets for aircon/lights etc. Breakfast: Squeezed into such a small area and not enough staff at breakfast. The breakfast was mediocre at best. The selection was really quite bland and not great quality. The fresh peaches needed about another week to ripen. The meats and cheeses were nothing special, (I was thinking catering standard). No apple juice, and the orange juice was just awful, not sure what they did to that. No bacon one day, no eggs the next. They really do have only one working coffee machine for the entire hotel. Note that the rooms do NOT have tea/coffee making facilities, so a very long wait at breakfast time. Dinner: Truly awful service, and the food was not good at all. I also saw that they had the remains of the dinner at breakfast the next day.

Couldn't be more convenient to train and bus stations & Centro Storico. Easy walk to both a cable car over the river to suburban Sardagna (nothing there but worth a half hour uphill meandering stroll once you get off the cable car) or the free castle gardens. Hotel overlooks the green Piazza Dante and is near many restaurants in the old town to which it is directly adjacent. Breakfast is ample, rooms are air-conditioned! (August can be sunny & hot, & we were grateful for the a/c.)

Nice hotel. While rooms look old fashioned, they are nice and spacious. I enjoyed my little deck too. Loved the bedside panel that let me control all the lights and A/C. Delicious breakfast with many options for food and seating. Great location for access to public transportation, trains, and park.

We stayed at this really well located hotel for two nights. The lobby and the bar are really gorgeous, and the breakfast area is also beautiful. The lighting in the room is extremely tricky to figure out. The rooms are OK in size, but the bathroom is laid out a little strangely. We would have preferred a shower rather than a tub which we had to step into, but the shower itself was fine. Needs tissues, and thicker towels, and definitely a nightlight in the bathroom. breakfast had lots of selections, but we would have liked more fresh fruit, possibly some cooked veggies or potatoes on the buffet.

The hotel had a beautiful restaurant and bar area. Its lobby looked very nice. We booked a 5 nights stay in a Classic Double room. The room looked quite nice. But it smelled a little due to the old carpet or poor ventilation. What we really didn’t like was the bathroom. It was OK sized, even though the toilet was oddly positioned behind the door. The shower place was very small. It was a bit tricky to use the shower place even though we were normal weighted people. The shower head was small and outdated. The bath towels were thin and worn out. Also, it would be nice if a box of tissue paper was supplied, instead of only 3 sheets of small tissue paper in the credit card sized plastic bag. Our room also had a balcony, but we didn’t use it because of the view. From the balcony all we could see was a concrete roof top right under our nose, full of some sorts of building equipments, very unpleasant. In short, it didn’t meet our expectation for a 4-star hotel

This is an older hotel. It needs to be maintained better. The safe did not work, the sink was plugged up and the toilet ran excessively. I did mention problems to the concierge but nothing was done. Perhaps a language barrier contributed to this. Despite the issues, I still gave the hotel 4 stars. The room was spacious, breakfast was good, and the hotel is well located. Also the hotel is reasonably priced.
