Everything and I mean everything about this hotel is 5 star My wife and I reserved this hotel because we were looking for a small hotel in city. We reserved a room.for the week with map (modified american plan). We arrived a few hours early. The security guard and receptionist both welcomed us by name. From the moment we arrived until we left, all the staff were extremely respectful, professional, courteous. Always ready to respond to all our needs and questions without being at all intrusive. Every detail was arranged ahead of time. We have never been to another hotel where my wife was treated with so much respect. The hotel is located at the top of the hill, our balcony had a view of entire city, with amazing sunsets everynight. I usually make a special mention for staff members who are special or spectacular. At this hotel it is unfortunately impossible. Every member of the staff here from manager to housekeeper has been amazing. It would honestly be unfair to mention anyone in particular. When not if, my wife and I return to Trinidad we will return to this hotel, without a doubt.

We chose Mystique Trinidad La Popa as the venue for our wedding in March 2025, and it was, without a doubt, the best decision we could have made. From the moment we arrived, everything exceeded our expectations — the service, the food, the decor, and the atmosphere were simply perfect. A HUGE thank you to David and his team for everything! The staff went above and beyond to make our wedding day — and our entire stay — unforgettable. Every detail was handled with care and professionalism, and the level of attention and warmth we received made us feel truly special. The decoration was beautiful, the food was outstanding, and the entire experience felt seamless and stress-free thanks to the incredible team. The rooms were spacious, impeccably clean, and featured terraces with stunning views. The hotel's location, perched on a hill, offered breathtaking views from almost every corner — especially from the terrace, where we had our sunset ceremony. It was one of the main reasons we chose the hotel, and it didn’t disappoint — the backdrop was magical. The food throughout our stay was delicious and varied, and we were especially impressed with how well the team catered to our vegan guests — they felt just as taken care of as everyone else. The customer service was truly exceptional; we felt so well looked after from start to finish. Another huge plus is the hotel’s location — right in the heart of Trinidad. It gave our guests the perfect balance of exploring the historic city or relaxing by the hotel’s pool and enjoying the bars. If you’re looking for a place that offers charm, service, and unforgettable views — whether for a special occasion or a holiday — Mystique Trinidad La Popa is an absolute gem. We’ll cherish the memories we made here forever, and will definitely be going back for our anniversary.

The hotel and all their staff have not only been welcoming, efficient, friendly and simply fantastic. From the service desk, the representatives are excellent at helping all clients as promptly as possible. The hotel is very clean, room service is wonderful. If you need anything (food, towels, or other necessities). The staff will attend to your wishes. The bars and restaurant service is exquisite, friendly and very polite. Our concierge attendant made certain that all our needs would be satisfied. Today, we learned our flight would be postponed for an extra day which isn't breaking my heart in the least. The pool is clean, the weather is great. I would recommend this resort.
