Scandic Ishavshotel recensioner

Check-in staff is friendly, the process is quick. Upon request, they unlock the upper deck bunk bed as my kid prefer upper one as his personal bed. The view is nice from the room window, can see the Tromso beach. The night also having a good weather and we able to see northern light just at outside of the hotel.

Excellent location both getting to shops and to/from airport as it stop directly outside the hotel.

Breakfast is so good! I love living here, surrounded by the ocean! Very comfortable environment very, very good! I'll stay here again next time！

Decent location since many of the tours start from here. Service staff could be friendlier.

Overall the breakfast and location was lovely as it’s near to many tour pickups. But they don’t have daily cleaning and u have to inform them beforehand everyday which is a hassle.

The location is great! Wound recommend to my friends as well. And I love the view from our room, can see the bridge hehehe.

The location is superb, just next to the harbour. The room is spacious with a beautiful sea and mountain view. Nice breakfast.

+ Great location + Fantastic Breakfast + Lovely harbour view and while it was down to luck, we enjoyed the northern lights from the comforts of our room. - Restaurant was really busy. No system in the morning and the staff hanging around are mostly there to clean up the used dishes. There should be a queue system when the restaurant is full. Additionally, night time service seems to be overwhelmed with tour (cruise?) group and conference guests, which is understandable especially if you don’t have a reservation. But staffers should inform diners if it would take more than an hour to serve the food. - Reception not always the friendliest, though they do try to be helpful.

Good location and delicious breakfast

Perfect location for tours. Practically everything had this hotel as a start or stop point. Room was pretty small but had a nice view. It was also quiet. The window opened for fresh air. Main complaint would be that breakfast always seemed busy and chaotic with just too many people for the space available.
