Lane Head Farm Country Guest House

We had the pleasure of staying at this charming bed and breakfast for one night on Saturday, and we couldn’t have asked for a better experience. The host was incredibly friendly and accommodating, going above and beyond to ensure our comfort. As we were observing Ramadan, the host was understanding of our needs and kindly arranged for breakfast items to be available at an earlier time for suhoor, which we truly appreciated. It was such a thoughtful gesture that made our stay even more special. On top of that, as we were checking out, the host surprised us with a lovely touch — a tin of biscuits for each of us to take home. It was a small but meaningful gesture that really reflected the warmth and care we felt throughout our stay. We couldn’t recommend this place enough, and we look forward to returning in the future.

If you want a lovely little cottagey hideaway, away from the crowds but close enough to everything you'd ever want from the Lake District... Look no further! From the moment we arrived to the moment we left we felt so welcomed, it was like a little home away from home! Suruchi was so helpful and very welcoming of the dogs who loved her. The room was so cosy, with quirky little details that made it very charming. The bed was extremely comfortable too, found it hard to get up for breakfast but I'm so glad I did! Suruchi's Masala omelette was incredible and really set us up for the day The house is a lovely twist on traditional cottage with hints of modern, honestly I could live there the lounge area made me want to nestle up and read but the view from the garden made me want to go on an adventure of my own haha. The service, care and attention that has gone into this b&b are completely unmatched. My only regret is not staying longer! Thank you Suruchi for being such a lovely host, we will definitely be back! I recently had the pleasure of staying at this lovely bed and breakfast, and I can't recommend it enough! From the moment I arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality by the host, who made us feel right at home. Lovely rooms, views and so accommodating. We sat out in the garden to enjoy the view of the stars, the host came out and helped us set up and fire, brought hot chocolate and really looked after us. We'll definitely be coming back.

Absolutely fantastic stay at Lane Head Country B&B! From the moment we arrived, we felt completely welcomed and relaxed. The log fires were the perfect touch, creating such a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Our room was spotless, beautifully decorated, and had an incredible breathtaking view (my old phone camera didn’t do it justice) a peaceful retreat after a day of exploring. The masala omelette was absolutely delicious. The location is perfect too, nestled in a quiet spot with easy access to all the Lake District has to offer. Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a comfortable, relaxing getaway.

Our host Suruchi was very friendly and welcoming, showed us the communal lounge , kitchen, where we could make our own drinks and meals during the day, dining room and large range of games we had access to, upon on arrival, which was a lovely touch and a great surprise. The bedroom and facilities were modern and clean, set within a traditional farmhouse. It was under 10 minutes drive to Keswick town centre, but the farmhouse was surrounded by beautiful countryside views.

My partner and I stayed here for two nights and would definitely stay again as it’s a great base to explore the Lake District. Suruchi is a great host - she is friendly, attentive and accommodating. We appreciated the various breakfast options and there was even delicious homemade cake for us to enjoy. It was nice to chat to other guests over breakfast too. Our room was clean, tasteful and spacious with a four poster bed, smart TV and an en-suite with a powerful shower. We had everything we needed and felt relaxed and comfortable for the duration of our stay.
