Ibis Troyes Centre

2 petite problème de mon séjour ; petit message en haut de direction : pourquoi il n'y a plus de brosse de toilette ? il fallait que j'achète une brosse pour néttoyer après mon passage au WC . Ce n'es pas aux femme de ménage qui doivent nettoyer après certain gros dégueulasse les toilettes ( car il n'y a pas de BROSSE !!! ) vous devrez faire comme les serviettes de bain , après le séjour du client , mettre la brosse de toilette en laverie et en remettre un autre propre pour le futur client . Et 2 ièmes petit problème : dernière nuit vers 23heures , je m'es la carte dans le boitier et là plus de lumière qui s'allume . la très gentille femme d'accueil , ma donner en 5 minute une autre chambre . mais sinon très bien dans l'ensemble

We enjoyed our stay. Hotel well placed to explore Troyes. We will visit again as soon as we are able to. The staff at the hotel were very helpful. Local travel is good on the free city bus

Ibis can be great. This one was not. They didn’t inspire confidence on arrival by not having the room types available despite booking them in January. One of the two rooms was supposed to be a twin but they’d replaced it with a double plus sofabed. The receptionist said the sofabed would be perfect for a teenager. That might have been right for a 5ft teenager. The room was also full of flies and so it was changed for a standard double. In that room the air con controls were hanging off the wall and worked only intermittently. In the other room the bathroom door didn’t shut and the shower didn’t stay in the holder. That’s perfect if you want to shower by holding the attachment. The lift remains a mystery. Getting it to go to the right floor quickly is a bit like cracking a safe. But if you’re in no rush it does the job. Come on ibis- you can do better. Look to your colleagues in nearby Langres who run a great hotel.

Fine for an overnight stopover on route to somewhere else. I was on the verge of four stars and it wasn't far from that but the room we stayed in could do with a little bit of attention. Could do with redecorating and the bathroom was a bit tired. The shower was decent though. It was also quite noisy on our corridor (not the hotels fault I know). The service was good though with friendly helpful staff on reception and a decent enough buffet style breakfast in the morning. The location is also quite good being about a 10 minute walk from the centre which is worth a visit. Parking was available I think for about 13 euro a night that my Dad pre booked.

No doubt the location of this hotel is a big asset when visiting Troyes. Parking is available at 12€/night. The old town and restaurants are at walking distance. Breakfast buffet offers a good choice of different food. On arrival you can choose to skip daily cleaning service and get some drinks for free. Never heard that one before. Friendly staff. Bar area could be more pleasant.

Good breakfast; parking has to be paid for. Quite a bit of noise in the street outside at times - ask for a quiet room. Staff were courteous. A box of tissues and a bottle of water in the room would have been nice.
