Sandals Grenada All Inclusive - Couples Only

Had a great stay at Sandals Grenada, there was a few issues with our room to begin with, but their guest service team helped us in finding another room on the resort. The 10 restaurants and entertainment each evening was wonderful. Staff were friendly and helpful throughout our stay.

We have been to many sandals hotels and found this one a disappointment compared to the other properties we have visited. I will try and summarise it in as short review as possible. This is the first sandals I have rated below a 4/5. Firstly the good points; Large range of food and drinks. Beautiful grounds and plants. Lovely beach area and welcoming sea. Neptune's service was always fantastic. A lot of places to sit on the beach but the main pool seats get taken up quick. Entertainment was varied and interesting. Bad points Service was below average, not all employees but quite a few didn't acknowledge you when you arrived. Long wait times to be served at multiple restaurants, notably, butchs steakhouse where we waited over an hour to get any food, and the Italian restaurant, where we also waited over an hour to get even a starter, and drinks we ordered didn't arrive either at the restaurants, so we had to chase them up. We also had multiple restaurants forget we had ordered desserts so was left sat there and we ended up just walking out. Towels were taken but not replaced in our room on multiple occasions. Vegetarian options have become almost limited to fake 'meat' dishes now, rather than Veggie meals. Didn't get welcome pack in room so had to chase up the spa voucher, and they had run out of t shirts for our whole stay. Was served meat for lunch after asking for vegetarian qasedilla, unfortunately found out too late after taking a bite, as I didn't open up the wrap beforehand. Multiple times my husband asked about going out for snorkelling on the boat but hardly ever got a straight answer and most the time only snorkelled from shore with the aqua team. Woke up early a few times before anything was open and the coffee machines had been taken away from lobby area so only had the room to get coffee in. Was told by reception that we could have a free room to shower in as we had a late flight, however we sat and waited and in the end was told just to use the shower area. We would've just done this anyway rather than being told to wait for a room to become free, seemed like a waste of time. Overall didn't feel as welcoming as other sandals, felt like you were being a pain when asking for drinks at the bar etc. So in conclusion after paying that much money for a hotel and holiday we would've expected a lot better from a sandals hotel, like the many we had been to before. If this was half the price and a different hotel chain then I would've expected this level of service. A bit of a disappointment overall.

We recently went for our honeymoon and everything was absolutely perfect! The room was amazing with the best views(Lover's Lagoon Hideaway Walkout Junior Suite with Patio Tranquility Soaking Tub). The food and drinks were endless and couldn’t have been better! Some of the best and most fresh seafood we’ve had & that’s saying something because we’re from New Orleans! We want to shout out our favorite people who took care of us at the resort: Glendon, Diron, Kenneth& Ritchard. We will miss you all but a special thank you for making our trip the best and all you did for us! We cannot wait to go again!! Definitely recommend this resort again and again for the best hospitality, food and views!

We were at SG the week of Sept 21st, this was our 6th Sandals visit, for us,it our new favorite. It is smaller than the other resorts we have been to but, still amazing. We were greeted by staff, given scented towels the freshen up with. We were brought to the club lounge where Travis helped us check in , got us drinks , then took us to our room. The staff was wonderful, we had a beach front club room in Pink Gin. You may need a UK adaptor for outlets in the room. But there were 3 plugs that were available and suited are needs. The entertainment at night was incredible!! The singers, violinist , band and saxophonist were very talented. The food was delicious , the restaurants are centrally located and we loved our afternoon coffee and dessert at the cafe daily. The coffee was unfortunately out of order but I was still able to have a cappuccino in the club office. Yes it is a smaller beach but the water was great and there was plenty of fish by the rocks. Bring snorkel gear if you have it to explore the fish. What we needed this trip was R&R from a very stressful year and that was what we got. We stayed on the quiet side. But the party pool was hopping every time we went over to that side to get pizza or take a walk. The grounds are so beautiful and I loved taking daily walks to explore. We had the scents of love couples massage and it was incredible! Kenya & Francelyn gave a really good massage. Jazz gave us a great tour of the resort, she also the entertainment manager and an incredible singer. Grenada was a beautiful Island and wonderful amazing people.

Wow where do I even start! We went to Sandals, Grenada for our honeymoon and I’m so glad we did. Right outside of our room there was a shared small pool which was always empty. Our room was cleaned daily and drinks in the fridge were topped up too! DJ (Jevon) and party pool were amazing, games were played by the entertainment team whom you could have a laugh with (Roukell and others!) and the bar tenders were so attentive (shout out to Terrell, Keeshana, Javon x2) and there was even live cooking by Clint, which was delicious! All staff were so caring and genuinely they made our trip even better! Especially Chantal, Naksha, Kesron, Aveeta and Tonika! The food we absolutely loved! I mean if you complain about the food - you must be beyond fussy! My favourite meal was definitely at Butch’s but we also loved Kimono’s, the Italian and Neptunes! Breakfast was also great too - especially at the French restaurant. We honestly loved our stay here and honestly couldn’t complain. We met so many wonderful people whilst we were there as well and we can’t wait to go back!

This was my 5th time at a Sandals resort. We came to celebrate our 24th yr anniversary as we've done in the past at the other resorts, and Grenada was the ONLY resort that didn't acknowledge it. No card, no wine , NOTHING! That was very disappointing. Pro's: Great customer service/ friendly. Hibachi & Soy restaurant was really good. Smaller resort so you won't get lost. 3 nice pools, close to the airport. Guys at the pool bar are outstanding. Cons: Took too long to check us in There should be more snack/ food options other than pizza by the pool. Beds were hard!! I had to ask for a topper to sleep.

Our 3rd Sandals but first in the beautiful island of Grenada. The local people are incredibly proud of their island and very friendly. The Sandals staff were amazing and again very friendly and attentive to our needs. From The front desk team led by Ariel, the Aqua boys, especially Cleveland and Curtly, to the housekeeping and restaurant staff - all were fantastic. Special shoutout to Kisselle who “owned” the Pool deck serving refreshments all day long with great chat and fun vibe - she’s a star! Such a happy place with genuinely happy staff - we highly recommend this resort and thank you all for a wonderful holiday.

We always love vacationing at Sandals resorts but this time we decided to go with the butler service. Sylvika, Kevon, and Brent were amazing!! All the special touches were magical and now butler service is the only way I will travel! When we go back to Grenada we will be requesting this outstanding team again!

Pros: outstanding customer service, everyone goes above and beyond to serve you and make you happy. The beach is small but beautiful and the beach water floaties are amazing! Great food especially at Hibachi and Soy my favorites Alvin at the beach bar was amazing, he smiled and gave amazing customer service, made amazing drinks! Curtis was one of the only people who have the most accurate information! Cons: the first few days we arrived the beach was not clean I think the butlers or whoever is in charge of cleaning should pay attention to this. Small Beach Tips: go to to Grand Anse beach, it’s public but beautiful, make sure you ask for a cooler the day before to take to the beach. Overall I had a great time!
