Mekong Lodge Resort

Mekong Lodge Resort is a hidden gem right by the river. The atmosphere is peaceful, romantic, and surrounded by nature. The rooms are cozy and charming—perfect for couples. Waking up to the sound of the river and birds was pure bliss. The swimming pool is large, clean, and during this season, it felt like my own private oasis. Each day passed slowly and happily—exactly what I needed. The staff were friendly, and the food was delicious. Highly recommend for a quiet riverside retreat.

From online booking to checkout the Mekong Lodge offered exellent service and communication. We stayed 2 nights and enjoyed the relaxing atmosphere the Mekong river has to offer. The private bungalow was very cosy and surrounded with beautiful gardens. The pool was amazing during sunrise and sunset with view of the river plus a poolbar. I recomend trying the Elephant Ear Fish from the resturant a very tasty meal and you roll your own ricepaper rolls after staff demonstration. We went on both boat tours and had a wonderful guide Thong who was incredibly engaging, knowledgable and friendly, such a great guy! I'd also like to mention Thuy from reception who went above and beyond to make our stay enjoyable. We organised our own driver from HCMC to Cai Be and on arrival to the town became lost, a quick call to Thuy and she was able to locate our wherabouts and organised a taxi to pick us up to then get the boat to the lodge. We enjoyed a full body massage the morning we checked out and could easily stay longer as all the staff where very helpful, kind people and the accomodation was truly 5 stars in all aspects! Lastly Thao from online sales made the process of booking easy and efficient via email. Also offering valuble information about transportation and arranging tours everything went as planed. Thank you to all the lovely staff at the Mekong Lodge who made our holiday memorable!

A very peaceful couple of days after being in the hectic city of Saigon. The lodge was set in beautiful surroundings and had everything we needed to enjoy our stay. We made use of the free bikes and cycled around the area where we were greeted by lots of lovely people as we passed by. The rooms were clean and the staff were very friendly. Lunch and dinner at the restaurant were all delicious with lots to choose from! Make sure to organise your transport through the lodge if you’re not part of a tour as we didn’t do this and had some confusion with our journey there being dropped off on the side of a road quite far from the harbour.

Good welcome from the team to the resort. Site is beautiful, flowers everywhere, well maintained. Nice clean rooms. No fridge in room. Everything, food and drink, à la carte. Quality of food overall is good. Friendly and attentive servers. Pool and mini jacuzzi a nice perk to the resort. Cai Be is 20 minutes away by foot on a narrow dirt path. Bicycles are available and free of charge. Organizing tours on our own is tedious. In house tours are offered.

Once likely to be one of the finest riverside resorts in Asia, but has fallen on hard times, presenting an opportunity for bargain hunters. The resort boasts a fantastic location overlooking the Mekong River. Not too far to the local township but far enough to make it a secluded paradise, and only 2 hours from HCM. The staff are friendly, welcoming, and professional. The rooms are comfortable, spacious, and maintain the charm of the resorts majestic past. The amenities are excellent: the pool & bar, and riverside restaurant in particular.

The hotel is in nice location, but expensive and the rooms old and dirty , you can only eat in hotel restaurant that is actually is very bad , the breakfast was the worst I ever try , we had lunch dinner breakfast, we try all the dishes and all was very bad ,
