This device does have an embedded microphone and video camera (however we keep the camera disabled/covered). The microphone can also be disabled on the device if preferred (note this would also disable voice control of the property's SMART features). Each night at 10 PM a siren will go off in town indicating that the curfew is in effect for the youngsters in our community.
