Our third stay here and as always it’s Clean, Quiet and so comfortable. The fire pit is a wonderful experience. We appreciate that you kept the Route 66 motif. Love the Moon pies! Thank you so much for all you do to make our stay awesome! Our pet says thank you for the treats!

What a fun retro motel! This is a small independently run motel where the front office closes overnight. We let them know that we would be arriving after the office closed and they made arrangements for us to access the room. My husband loved that the radio was playing a station with old 30s-50s music and ads. The bed was comfortable and we had a great night's sleep. Coffee makers are not in the room, but coffee is available from the office when they open in the morning. Our only wish is that they would have put taller toilets in the bathroom.

This is a great motel. Better than any of the highway chain hotels. The room and bed were very comfortable and very nicely decorated with 50's memorabilia. The Owners have done a great job and shown a lot of attention to detail. You can be confident of having a good experience if you stop here.

The Roadrunner Lodge is the perfect place to stay when exploring the old towns along Route 66. The Lodge is clean and quiet, has hot showers and comfortable beds. It is a true walk down memory lane with 1950s music playing on the radio and an ancient Rambler parked in front of the lobby. There are restaurants conveniently located within walking distance of the hotel. Highly recommended and so much more interesting than staying in a big chain hotel!

My husband and I were meeting friends at the Roadrunner to have a Route 66 gathering and to celebrate the 10th anniversary of David owning the hotel. Our room was absolutely spotless! The large bed was very comfortable. The room was nicely decorated and cozy. I would consider the rooms at the Roadrunner a class act, perfect for all travelers, but especially Route 66 lovers. The room where the ice machine was kept was below our room, but we never heard any of the usual loud noises that go along with that. In fact, our friends enjoyed a gathering outside by the fire pit one evening, I stayed in the room with a headache and did not hear them; our Route 66 group can be a little loud sometimes…

This is the coolest place. It was sooooo clean, really. No ick about it anywhere and I am a stickler about cleanliness. The vibe was just neat. I’d read the reviews before about the old music on the radio etc and thought eh, whatever. But once we got there we seriously felt like we went back in time and it was just refreshing and gave me warm fuzzies thinking of my grandparents’ time on the 66 road to Yuma every summer. The gift shop is cute and there is a whole section of gifts for your doggo. I love this place and would totally recommend if you like something other than the cookie cutter style. The lady at the front desk was an absolute doll and was so kind and friendly. The morning coffee was really good and yes there were moon pies waiting for us!

The Road Runner was recommended by a hotel next door that was full. Getting a room was easy process over the phone. We arrived and were pleasantly surprised. Super clean, everything in working order. It was 100 degrees outside and the air conditioning worked perfectly. Coffee and treats available in the morning….great place to stay.

This was an AWESOME stop!!!! What an amazing job they did with renovations and staying true to the 60’s. From the decor to the moon pies and RC Colas in the room and the 60’s music and commercials that were playing. The room was IMMACULATE and the bed so comfy! Loved it!

Clean, convenient and nice. The theme is 50's, the heyday of Rt 66. The motif is genuine and not over the top. They did not have laptops in the 50'5, so don't expect a workstation, but the wi-fi works fine. Walking distance to the best breakfast and the best dinner restaurant in town.
