Kairaba Bodrum Princess & Spa - All Inclusive

This hotel is the worst hotel I’ve stayed in. We just got back from staying for 7 nights and I’m very disappointed. It started with being given a room which looked boring and unlike the photos - the bathroom was not clean and it just looked bland and awful. We decided to pay a large amount to upgrade to a better room because we were both unhappy with it. The upgraded room we were given had a broken shower head (with large damp area in the ceiling probably from where it’s leaked previously) which was fixed with electrical tape as seen in picture (when you turned it on it sprays water all over the bathroom). This is naturally very dangerous so we spoke to reception and got moved into another room. This next room (third room) not only had a loose toilet seat but also the bathroom door handle came out with all four screws in upon first use!!! We spent our entire first day using google translate to speak to the staff and were told multiple times that someone would come and have a look but never did. The cleaners came once out of our 8 day stay, and even then they only gave us new toilet roll (they ignored any dirty glasses and no making the bed). I estimate that we had to converse with the reception team at least 20 times during our stay (majority being on the first day). I ended up having to take some toilet roll from the ladies bathroom because I had asked for some at reception (I was told it would be 5 mins) and didn’t get any until a day and half later! Our toilet paper bin in the bathroom was so full that I had to ask them to empty it. This was also the case when dealing with the maintenance men in relation to the door handle/shower, when they tell you it’ll be 5 minutes expect hours if not days later (I could go on about this situation but it’s long). My partner and I are surprised that this place is functioning considering how poorly designed it is and the service from the cleaners to the maintenance is just terrible. Even the food was miserable and we ended up eating majority bread and butter the entire holiday. The bed covers also did not fit the entire bed. Very disappointed as we were looking forward to this stay very much. The only lovely part about it was the pool but still had to wake up at 6am to reserve a sunbed. Oh and let’s not forget that we had to struggle with the door every time we wanted to get into our room yet no one could help us with that.

Overall a very nice hotel and friendly staff, food was basic but overall nice not very friendly for English though wasn’t much choice at breakfast not even a toaster. Drinks were nice beer was abit flat but cocktails very nice. Location wasn’t great for walking to places was easily a 25 minute walk to a few bars and some shops and markets. The hotel itself though was very nice and modern rooms were clean just a few things that could do with tweaking to make it a 5 star hotel.

We enjoyed very much our stay The main problem is the swimming pool which is small and a solution must be thought of, as the sea was not very suitable for swimming. The staff was very kind and friendly, especially Enes at the snack bar that made us feel special and took care for everything

Honestly this hotel is amazing, everyone is so welcoming and the resort itself is so nice, the entertainment team is friendly and make you join in which is good, Ronaldo one of the entertainment team very friendly and bubbly got along with him so well made our day looked after us and can’t wait for the boat trip tmrw

This hotel is not for British people ! Barely anyone can speak English. I would describe it as bunn leisure for the Turkish. We stayed for 9 nights & not once could we get a sun bed around the pool, you needed to get up at 5.00 am if you wanted one. Beers around the pool were served in paper coffee cups & stray cats were all around the snack bar. The hotel facilities were not big enough for the amount of guests.Turgutreis is a lovely resort you just need to stay in a different hotel.

This hotel is not suitable for overseas visitors, they are very unfriendly to tourists unless you are Turkish. As an English person they make it quite obvious you are not welcome, from the signage being in Turkish, to absolutely nobody speaking even the basic English. I would not advise anybody that isn’t Turkish to visit this hotel. It is not a 5 star hotel and that is heavily reflected in the food and service which would just about reach 3 stars. I would Not recommend this hotel. We are currently trying to contact our tour operator to see if they can move us to a different hotel.
