Vikingen Infinity Resort & Spa

Vi kom till detta hotell första gången 2014 eller 2015. Jämfört med den tiden verkar det som att allt finns där matmässigt, men det mesta är utseendet. Kvaliteten på ingredienserna som används i maten är mycket dålig. Ingen ser i ansiktet på korvägget. Det är så illa. Speciellt de förberedde ett fiskbord, jag sa ok, den här gången köpte jag varje fisk som kommer att bli god, lite i taget. Eller är allt gjort med surt? Jag tror att anledningen till att de gör det surt är för att undertrycka den dåliga smaken. Det finns kebab på stranden vid middagstid. Det är det enda läckra. Brickmakaren ger den med sin sallad. När det gäller maten deltog jag inte så mycket, men underhållningssidan är bra. Poolerna är inte särskilt rena. Vi kom redan och visste att havet är dåligt. Aquapark var så roligt.

Vikingen Hotel offers a perfect blend of comfort and luxury. The staff is friendly, the rooms are spotless, and the food is delicious. The beachside location and relaxing atmosphere make it ideal for both families and couples.

Start by saying overall it was a fantastic holiday but holidays are what you make it and we always make it a great holiday. We arrived late at night after a long day and transfer. Initially we were very disappointed with the room we were given. Balcony over-looked the roof of the reception area I think. The room for a family of 4 was small. I did query an upgrade but I wasn't paying another 200euros. After a chat we both thought you only use your room to sleep so we moved on from it. The room had a/c which was a God send, shower was good. Cleaned and fresh bedding daily. Couldn't fault the cleaners. Next day we scoped out the hotel. Massive complex. I hope you like walking! There are pools and sunbeds immediately outside the hotel but this area gets very very busy. We walked to the bridge over it and that's where we spent everyday. That's where the kids amusements are, kids pools and slides. As a group of 16 we never had a problem getting beds around the kids splash area. We were down generally about 9.30ish. Most of the night time entertainment is down this area aswell. So after your food about a 10 maybe 15mins walk. Kids entertainment didn't start till 9 I think and was decent but it looked as tho it was catered for the kids that were in kids club. Other kids could get involved but the staff seemed more interested in those kids who'd been in the club all day. After the kids entertainment there was a turn on. More adult orientated. We saw a circus, michael Jackson & JLo tribute, African dancers(Blank panther themed dance). Was very good. On to the food. Look don't listen to the negative review. It's not Michelin star by any stretch of the imagination but very good, lots of choice and once again we never had a problem getting seated together. So on to my negatives. Like I've already mentioned room was small. It took ages to get served a drink so a tip get friendly with a waiter and tip him. He'll never be away from your table. Alot of walking involved aswell. Too much for my liking lol., became abit of a chore to be honest. Overall 8/10, would I return? Probs not but that's down to personal preference. Hotel too big, too many guests and didn't particularly enjoy 10k steps everyday on my hols lol.
