We have just arrived how from week stay here and it was lovely the hotel was clean and big and lots different pool and splash park was great for the childern, Also the chicken corner down by splash park food was amazing lush Drinks are ok Food was good breatfast want great but there still lots to pick from Lunch and dinner was good lots of choice yes it does get the same but unless your going to 5/6 star hotel with 10 different restaurants then there all the same so don’t panic read the negative as the food was nice Only negative I have which can be made to hotel improvement Would be the ice cream stall need to open earlier and also have one at each end of the splash park 1. Oct the pools are very very cold but it refreshing lol 2. And some of the staff can be little rude 3. The eveing entertainment is on far too late even the kid club and it not it best But overall the location was great the beach is amazing and the sea temp was perfect There lovely market and shop up the road which can walk to but take 2Omin walk and iy on a duel carriage way so busy but cheap enough to get taxi, But overall great choice of hotel and perfect for week get away in winter as weather was hot 28.c /25.c most days no cloud lovely

My boyfriend (24) and I (23) have just returned from a week’s stay in this hotel. The hotel is quite a length from the airport but bearable. Upon arrival and throughout our stay we can not fault how clean this hotel is and how polite, friendly and attentive the staff are. This hotel is absolutely massive, with its own beach, several pools and water park. There is something for everyone. There is also its own water sports on sight, a shop (very over priced) hairdressers and more. The coffee/ice cream shop does the best iced coffee. In regard to the food/drink this hotel is excellent for children, for us we found the food selection poor and we decided to eat out most evenings as the restaurant is always packed. The a la carte is pre served so not actually fresh. There are two restaurants we would recommend within walking distance (20-40mins main road with path) and these restaurants even offer a pick up/drop off service. These restaurants are called ‘Calvados Rest & Pub’ and ‘Ruzgar Cafe, bar & restaurant’. There is music, water sports however if this is a little too loud for you then the beach area is quiet and more relaxed for adults. Near the beach there is a chicken corner which we found was the only thing we ate while being at this hotel. Wi-Fi is available however this comes at €10 a week. There are a variety of cocktails and even a coffee bar, again for iced coffee lovers or those who love a baileys in your coffee you’ll find this bar in the reception area. Lovely holiday, just a shame the food let it down.

Currently at the Vikingen just now, we are here for 1 week and we are currently on day 3. On arrival we checked in, make sure you have your booking number as they don’t allow without, unusual as normally only have to give name etc when checking in. Couldn’t connect to WiFi - there is a €10 charge per person per week - so the guy at the desk logged me on through his WiFi - sketchy. Anyway got our room and headed up, on first site the hotel is dated and I need of update and repair. The room is worn, we are a family of four, rooms are 1 single bed, 1 double and a sofa - which we had to ask to be made up as no extra sheets, only provided 2 towels, had to ask for more also. First morning head down to breakfast - don’t expect much if you like cereal, continental, healthy breakfast or hot food. French fries seem to be a favourite for breakfast here, can’t get toast as machine broke and still not repaired, hot food is always cold, kids can’t get cereal unless they love the sugary filled multi coloured variety. Selection of fruit poor and often not ripe enough to eat. Coffee is dreadful, milk is water. Meat is all processed. All in all awful. Lunch at the snack bar - again food is always cold, offer baked potatoes, burgers, nuggets, chips, salad etc. better than breakfast. Dinner is again cold food that should be hot, the whole buffet experience is awful, it’s like feeding time at the zoo. I’ve been to many all inclusive but never experienced madness like this before. The staff say very little, not helpful or unhelpful, most can barely speak English, when asked where we were from they had never heard of Scotland. Evening entertainment is awful, went to the Madonna show - for a family hotel the show was very provocative, most of the audience left, the singers mimed and the dancing lack lustre. I could go on and on but hate moaning. I’m failing to see the 5 stars in this hotel.

Beautiful hotel lovely staff alper tunga went out of his way to help and advise would definitely come back for another stay food is served all day and night with a wide range to cater for everyone's needs cocktails was a large selection contained to other hotles I've stayed in
